ESO-ht7ug: the game community is so good that i cant quit. many guilds welcomed me even if i cant speak English well.
thatguy.8709: Been playing since 2014 and Every year its the same topic.. just different creators
catspiracytheorist2138: New players r smoking that copium pipe in this comment section but check in with them months later after the honeymoon phase ends n they will tell u they quit the game.
No, this game is going into maintenance mode. It has done its playerbase and youtubers alll so very dirty. Putting all the game’s amazing cosmetic rewards in the crown store gambling crown crates alone was enough to make me quit playing the game.
dakota237: No, no it's not.
Ive got 2k hours in this game and I wish i could have that time back. The games getting worse and worse every update. More bugs and glitches and more nickle and diming. ZOS employees actively mock the players and refuse to listen to any feedback.
XtremeXbox: For people like me who have no friends who game, having the ability to solo ESO is great! I think all MMO games should be solo friendly. When you cater to just one group of people it alienates others and that's not fair. For those who like greater challenge and want to do events where groups are required, ESO has that too! There are tons of dungeons that are ''group only'' and world bosses that are also for groups only. And there are easier dungeons for solo players. ESO has content for both styles, MMO lovers and those who like playing alone. And that's what makes it the best MMO game around.
Grandtemplar305: I started playing it a little bit today but I’m only in it for the lore an stuff
DirtySerb: Remember, your only a world boss slaying Titan until a no name town guard decides to clap your cheeks for accidentally "stealing" that rusty sword worth 6 gold pieces.
bearandthebull2372: On console:FUCK NO lol
Game is dead ASF,people barely speak or interact, combat feels awful, and it's predatory as shit when it comes to monetization.
Jvctrw: I can't wait to play Skyrim online and steel players sweet rolls
Knurrfaucher: This isn't a "hop in and out as you like" MMO because the grind is serious.
- to train your horse will take months
- to master crafting will take years if you are even just slightly lazy
- if you want to have anything worthwhile from any content, you almost have to sell your soul to it
(ingame currency shops are expensive too)
- progression of guilds (skill lines) is slow, boring and often both
- key ultimates skills for tanks and healers are gated behind PvP
- level to max (lvl 50) is a trap, because after that, to do harder content comfortable, you have to grind 600 up to 1600 champion level
(at least 160 to wear the top quality of gear and use the best consumables).
- some progressing systems and skill lines are a goldsink, but if you aren't good at trading and (especialy) as a new player, you are limited at opportunitys to gain gold.
(don't let veteran millioneers fool you when they say it's total easy to get gold, because there is always a "but...")
That all sounds fun if you really want to settle in. Problem for a new player is, the game could be dead before you kept up to be a veteran.
maximilianneumann4785: saw the thumbnail, just clicked on the vid to give you the short answer:
No
Goodbye
caffeineaddictlolecksdee: I've tried getting into this game multiple times but the insanely easy and boring combat, art style and especially character design is just terrible and looks incredibly dated even for the year the game came out. There seems to be something worthwhile in there but i can't get over the negatives after spending so much time with ff14.
runkorko: No (game is great, but devs team do EVERYTHING possible, to kill it)
Cooperharley0204: They’re switching to a seasonal model in 2025. The game is fine as a casual player but if you’re playing this game for your main MMO, I can’t recommend it currently.
That could change come their seasonal update preview in April, but we’ll have to see. Right now, it’s a solid 6/10 MMO.
DR-nh2kh: lots of content for new players once you get to the end game, it is boaring. The main issue is the liniar progression and lack of co twnt or reward at the end game. But defo worth playing got a shit tone of content for a new players, loats of loot, lots of voise acted quest, beter grphics then most mmo out rn, great active combat.
XtremeXbox: THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!
I just got this game the other day. I play solo and am having a blast. This world is MASSIVE. You can fit all previous ES games in this map and lose them! I bought the deluxe that came with all previous chapters. Then I bought all other DLC I didn't have until I owned EVERYTHING! I now have the world map unlocked in its entirety.
lt.danicecream: Wait until you get the lag, booted for no reason (theyll calim its your hardware) , the stuck in combat bug thats been there for 10yrs, the dwindling endgame population, the nonsensical changes, the systems left unfinished (hybridization and pvp), the awful rewards, ans the clown store charging $100usd for a digital house.
FLEEE, fleee whilw you can!
The only people left are those that like the abuse
forest_hobo: As an long time Elder Scrolls fan I bought PS4 purely to play ESO! I think it was sometime before Morrowind chapter came if I recall and boy did I play this game, no other game I have played on PS4 as much as ESO for I had over 3500 hours untill the game bagan to be basicly unplayable on the old system, PvP was absolute horror story because the lag, then sometime later I got my first PC and now I have over 750 hours and while I still love the game and it is definitely my all time favourite MMO, it saddens me to see where the game is heading :/ I'm afraid like many others that ESO will go into "maintenance mode" in a year or two. All that time, all that hundreds of euros that I've put into this will soon be just a memory :(
Nonetheless I would still recommend the game, atleast the base game for new players as in my experience ESO is one the easiest MMO's to get inside and is very much created with new players in mind! :) if you don't wanna buy the game then there's free trials from time to time so if you are intrested even slightly I highly recommend to try the trial atleast.
boxingkanga1281: pvp is broken in this game
felixthecat1: The games good. End game is toxic, you can only play with meta setups. You get called fake “roles” for not knowing how to play a “10 year old game” but other than that. The games amazing, you’ll find new friends/guilds. Dont take end game meta to heart. There’s plenty of options you don’t need to grind the newest content to have fun
TheGreatPanicker: Simple answer: NO!!!!!!!
DR-nh2kh: by the way there is 1 second global cooldown on most skil so.u can do 1 auto atack and a spell/skill every second and your only limited by ur sustain
twrestlinga1: Yes the game is worth playing
After 3k hours...i won't be but definitely worth it
robwerts995: TLDR: No it is not.
mcbizzle1906: It is still worth it.
octavius428ball: Performance in cyrodiil, PS4 NA server is beyond embarrassing, EU is not much better. If you enjoy being disconnected from the server constantly I thoroughly recommend it.
