jamicassidy7955: Two reasons that many people think ESO is dying. 1 is they only check steam and see 10K like it's the entire playerbase. 2 is zones are instanced so you never see the full population in-game. There could be 1000 people right next to you and you only see 50 of them. You could add people to a group and warp to their instance to prove it.

Both of them are on both servers which I play 7 days a week usually between 8-14 hours per day since retiring at the end of 2023. I would say almost every day I see brand new players/returning players but rarely do I see someone in chat saying I'm not playing this game anymore.

harrykleinfelter3538: I think the number of players will vary widely based on events. There were a couple of big events in December which caused an uptick in player population. We'll probably be down for a couple of weeks until the next event starts.

xbon1: different platforms don't really matter when it comes to PC since they all connect, just NA/EU matters when it comes to PC.

Royal.Grand.Majesty: Steam charts aren't a very good metric for older MMO's. For a specific case, an MMORPG game like Guild Wars 2, is widely accepted that over 95% of the player base use the game specific launcher instead of Steam.

stevenxowens792: ESO sill the 4th most popular mmo. It has a stable core player base but I would like to see the numbers of unique (total) players each month. Probably less than 50k total for all platforms.

chaoticwings3436: I'm one of your playstation viewers. We defiantly have a pretty healthy population. I don't really go a day without noticing at least 500 or so players if I'm just playing in my usually 2 to 3 hours. Most of them tend to do duel nights in Auridon so if I really wanted to catch a bunch of them and have my screen explode with sound effects I would go there at certain hours. :P I'm one of the more late night guys but I can defiantly say that even when it goes quiet I usually still see quite a few players on because they are just waking up. Playstation server side is doing great. :)
