Samillus: I stared a few months ago and picked a Breton (bc they're the best race) and a Templar class. I was pleased to find out that theyre really good as a solo class.

briankingham175: Mained templar for years, but now I've found myself class shopping for several months, almost a year. Nightblade, DK, sorc, and warden (and templar) all have their pros/cons/fun factor, so I'm curious to see how arcanist will fare! Im looking forward to your in-depth videos for each class solo build, too!

erostew: Very good breakdown and nice that it's focused on specific scenarios. Most, if not all, lists I've seen focus on PVP, trials/arenas/dungeons or maybe tanking. That leaves a lot of players out of the equation. Also interesting that you put the Templar in A. I more or less randomly picked Templar as my main and have seen a lot of hate for it. I also picked Nord which I probably wouldn't have if I knew better

CreativeExcusesGaming: Warden is absolutely one of the best solo classes for pve content, and at least as far as solo pve goes, necro beats out nightblade IMO just because nightblade has horrible cleave and its damage relies so heavily on perfect light weaving.

But more than any of that, DK and struggling through a damage check is a hot take. Dk standard does insane damage and gives you 15% extra damage making damage checks sooo much easier.
SRS-GAMES: Great idea, for solo content I disagree slightly.
S - Arcanist, then Sorceror
A - Templar, then DK
B - Nightblade, then Warden
C- Necro

Arcanist was hardly nerfed, I certainly didn't see any difference, the upcoming changes to the flail may change this sadly, but for now the massive facemelting damage output coupled with a very powerful shield and self heal means there is literally nothing you can't solo better than any other class.
Sorc is and always has been awesome and has to be in S tier.
Templar I think edges DK in some areas and not others, depends highly on the sets you can use, with unlimited access to sets the DK is way stronger.
Nightblade is very fun but not in the same league as the others above it, whilst wardens are best at healing imo, but for solo purposes they do quite well.
Necro is difficult to master but it's not as bad as you make out, but I agree it only really shines in group content.
