Lebronscome: - The claymore is good due to its moveset which isn't able to be used while being dual weld. For that reason, I'd recommend the iron great sword when dual wielding.
- Also would definitely recommend the magma talisman for that build over green turtle (or fire scorpion depending on situation).
mwc821: For the spear/shield build I'd use the Messmer Soldiers Spear with Royal Knights Resolve. The charge attack with that weapon hits twice and the Royal Knights Resolve applies to both hits.
isaacgnzlz5761: When using the Blasphemous Blade, I like to keep the Sword of Milos in the off-hand. The Blasphemous gets you HP back, and Milos gets you FP back everytime you defeat an enemy. This way, when exploring or doing dungeons, you have almost infinite HP and FP.
nerdychefseb6197: For storm katana build gotta add a uff to the sword since it's not infused. Blood flame incation or greeses anything since that damage buff will add to storm blade ash of war. Makes that builds crazy good
foobar2027: Raptor and Claws increases jump attack by 26.5% not 25%. They stack multiplicatively, not additively. 1.10 * 1.15 == 1.265
So basically a litttle bit better than your video suggests
STARQUAK3: Your builds and videos are great and are appreciated a lot, thank you!
Also about the first build, I usually combine the Blasphemous Blade with the Sword of Milos, you get some passive bleed buildup out of it and it restores FP on kills, so it pairs nicely with the health regen from the red beast of a sword.
slovabomb3413: For the shield build, you can make it more broken if you use the sword lance. It has the bloodloss build up of a colossal weapon while still being able to sheild poke.
adamaj74: I still use Anvil Hammer over Bloodfiend's Arm. I've tried it, tried to make it the best, but it just isn't. Plus, it's just ugly imo. At my level and optimizing stats for each weapon, the Anvil just does way more damage and has 60% higher AR (this is true even at level 150, Anvil is much stronger than any other weapon). I don't care about bleed damage, especially outside of boss fights. Bleed isn't needed when I can one-hit everything, even strong enemies like Bloodfiends and Knights. For going toe to toe, nothing in the game beats Anvil for pure raw damage, power, and stance breaking. Nothing. And for bosses, there are many ways to kill them faster than Bloodfiend's Arm and bleed procs. Buffed with Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength, I'm sitting at 4245 AR (times two when dual wielding them!). I just race through dungeons massacring everything, and Taker's Cameo talisman keeps my health topped off, which gives me constant damage buff from Ritual Sword Talisman.
My build:
Solitude armor set
Anvil Hammer
Erdtree Seal
Milady (it's fun!)
Fingerprint Shield OR Haligtree Crest Greatshield OR Eclipse Crest Greatshield (because it matches armor better haha)
Ritual Sword Talisman
Taker's Cameo
Two-Handed Sword Talisman OR Curved Sword Talisman OR Axe Talisman OR Claw Talisman (depending on situation and whether I'm dual wielding Anvils)
Ancestral Spirit's Horn Talisman (when clearing areas using Discus of Light. Discus uses 3 FP and Ancestral Spirit's Horn restores 3 FP on kill, which discus one-shot everything that's not elite)
7/7 Flasks
Opaline Hardtear with Greenburst Crystal Tear OR Stonebarbed Cracked Tear Or Bloodsucking Cracked Tear (depending on fight)
Golden Vow
Flame, Grant Me Strength OR Boiled Crab
Discus of Light
Knight's Lightning Spear
Pest Thread Spears
Using Anvil, it's simple, I just run around smashing everything. Don't have to worry about health or managing resources etc. Other times I just snipe everything with Discus of Light (which has the farthest range of any spell or incantation). You can find an elevated point and just snipe every enemy in an area. And what's really nice is if you do get hit or low on health, you can just equip Ancestral Spirit's Horn Talisman and kill a few enemies with Discus and you'll get all your health back thanks to Taker's Cameo and not lose any FP because of Ancestral Spirit's Horn! I clear out entire dungeons without ever having to use either Flask.
For bosses, I use this build or if I'm feeling especially lazy I use Blasphemous Blade build. For overkill, summon Mimic Tear. With Blasphemous Blade, proper Talismans, Physick, and buffs, WITH Mimic Tear...ANY boss is a joke that's dead in a few seconds.
Just__tk_YT: I gave up on the Blasphemous Blade because NG 7 and beyond is just a different kind of beast. DPS becomes more of a thing and from what I seen blood builds are still king. However, some contenders have risen up like Night Mages hitting for 4000 per cast with the poison/madness hand or Lighting God with ADLS. These contenders have always been around, but DLC items are pushing them into new levels of power.
jshadnot: Night comet build is still the most op, it’s also the most boring.
