The REAL Worst Boss In Elden Rings DLC Commander Gaius

Rose00781: Agreed, it's not as hard as Messmer and the final boss, but somehow this boss is really rustling my jimmies, I just can't.
AguyfromSv25: Say it with me everyone…

TOUUUCHHHH DA GRACEEEEEEE
DoobieFlex: Me wondering how Deion is gonna figure out “oh, mother”
marceloasmat1434: I just love the Igon summon. He doesn't really help out too much, but his dialogue..
You can really feel the hatred!

****
thebfbs8746: Seereax you have to keep drinking St. Trina’s nectar until she speaks to you. After your third drink she will talk to you and give you a lore drop that’s actually kinda important.
FarisO7: At this point, every time the next episode takes a long time to arrive, we can pretty much expect he got stuck at a boss
ragnarmeh8156: EGON was dead before u summoned him. He discarded his flesh and became a spirit for the sole purpose of being summoned by you to defeat Bayle. Hes dead. Also, Bayle fought Placidussax and that's why Placidussax only has two head, at least one of his heads is etched into Bayle's neck. Placidussax ripped Bayle's wings, one of his legs and both of his claws in retaliation. Bayle became a traitor to the Elden Lord at the time (Placidussax) and the drake warriors were set to find him and kill him for his transgressions. That's who Egon was
ALSO, embibe nectar 4 to 6 times to start getting dislogue with St.Trina. St Trina is the other half of Miquella, and shes the entity behind the whole sleep thingy in the game. Thellior's quest is basically about St Trina
Meeegl: Lore drop of the day ( haven’t watched the video yet so don’t know if he discovered this himself) but the reason why Gaius is on that pig is because he’s an albinauric like the people in the consecrated snowfield except that they have their wolves as their other half’s and Gaius has his pig because he’s a chad, also he trained in gravitational magic with radahn, their master was an Alabaster Lord
And here’s the bonus Radahn fun fact, Radahn did not only have his horse but cut content on the cat talisman reveals that he also had a cat with an incredibly long tail that loved to jump from great heights which is why the talisman reduces fall damage
McChickenIsNotReal: Fun fact: the reason gaius uses gravity magic is because of a rivalry he had with radahn when they where much younger. That’s why he has so many similar moves to him and he has no legs.
mdfl001: Too much info, but I just had an emergency surgery yesterday for a pain that kept me awake for 3 days. Just got discharged and on my way home was thinking “I hope Deion has a new Elden Ring video I can watch while laying down before I go to sleep” and BAM! Video uploaded few mins ago. Thank you! Your videos are the best!
mr.trooper502: “CURSE YOU BAYLEEEEEEEEE!!”
kuzogames5461: He returns...
safeekun: The thing that i appreciated the most out of this gameplay is ur genuine interest in the lore. A lot of youtubers i watch just push their way into the game and learn nothing. I love ur blind play through and ur genuine interest. Love you Deion
commander4369: Truly sad that you missed Igon’s questline
issaclangford7414: This guys fought a dragon and a literal god but his biggest enemy is a hippo and im pretty sure now a boar
chaserandalow8548: Lorewise, Gaius was equal parts a rival yet also like an older brother to Radahn. They both trained to use gravity magic under the same Alabastor Lord (those tall almost naked guys with swords who use gravity magic) in the town of Sellia (magic town in caelid) and had a strong friendly rivalry in their learning. If you check out some of his gear descriptions you can discover that Gaius is actually an albinauric (like those archer woman that ride on wolves or those lanky pale guys that crawl on the ground). Albinaurics are artificially created people (commonly utilized as servants, soldiers, or slaves), and though naturally gifted with magic and the arcane, are cursed to eventually lose the use of their legs; this is why nearly every albinauric seen is either crawling or riding on something else, with the exception of the rotund frog looking second generation of albinaurics because they are younger and have not yet lost the use of their legs. Gaius rides upon his faithful hog stead because he literally cannot walk on his own (so seereax was basically making fun of, and consequently getting beaten up by, a cripple and their assistive mobility animal).
TheBoiMyers: In reference to the beginning about lore, the lore of this game is really cool for the most part! My personal favorite bit of lore is what happens with Sir Gideon Ofnir in the Erdtree.

While you were in Farum Azula, Gideon made his way into the Erdtree and found Marika, as well as what she wanted. What she wanted, and how Gideon found it is unknown to us. All we know is that Gideon did not want it to happen, and refuses to let any tarnished become Elden Lord, allowing Godfrey through as he was not a tarnished at the point he arrived. Perhaps Gideon attempted to kill Marika, but could only put her down temporarily thanks to not having the rune of death? Either way, in his eyes, a tarnished Elden Lord cannot happen, not even him or you, a man cannot be allowed near a god...
DoobieFlex: If you want to fight the monk remember how fights start in real life, maybe you get flipped off, maybe you start with a polite bow, either way gestures are important.
unforeseen9: My god, I laughed so hard at that looney toones ass way you lost your runes lmao
doodoo806: R.I.P the turtle, 2024-2024
richarddegruchy5944: Commander Gaius? More like "this Commander guy-is trash"
DRandR1productionz: I can't lie grabbing food and watching your Elden ring content is my favourite thing to do
Hunter1bravo: I feel your pain. Plummeting to your death just to land by your souls...lol I'm sorry but your face after that had me laughing hard..lol
