Speaking of fingering, don't underestimate Cherishing Fingers: it's defensive utility is very situational, but it still does a heck ton of physical damage to anyone who's in the zone when the spell goes off. That is the true eldritch fingering, right there. Put it somewhere in your spell list were you can switch to it quickly and pop it off if someone tries to roll into you. They'll feel it.
