Jacksontruman92: Hate him or love him, Consert Rahdan is a prime example of why we fight most Souls bosses past their prime.
dafulegend5905: This boss is a walking flashbang lobotomy
busterwolf6973: "Marketting would lead you to believe that mesmer was the final boss"
Fromsoft 101any character in the "box art" of the DLC is not the final boss..
Lady Maria - Orphan of Kos
Artorias - Manus
Mesmer - Psych its Radahn again!
JP-bg2vq: Fighting Radahn is the like fighting Maxor’s editing
anldorukozoguz3728: I have been fighting this mf for the last 50 hours or so. and I still continue fighting
Edit: I DID IT
orendamusic7577: After beating it I think it’s absolutely the hardest boss ever in the series, but it really did feel like beating an anime dragonball z character flying around at the speed of light. It almost had to be a bit BS to meet the bar of killing a god and the strongest demigod in his prime
itsKimi: WHERE IS THE BAYLE VIDEO EVAN ?!
StevefromSales: Out of the DLC bosses Radhan wasn't my Favorite, but he was on par with the other DLC final bosses Imo. Except Gael, No one can Touch Gael.
pirateskeleton7828: Miquella was like “You made a vow”
The vow: “Over my dead body”
Rez_U_Rekt: One thing. Boss is not weak to stagger damage. He is literally the boss with the biggest stagger bar.
MrPatchy248: Radahn made me understand how overpowered greatshields are
koayuoo: Miquella is so strong that he killed me and my GPU.
MrHenry0201: Mogh saying "ahhh i can see it, as clear as day" might mean "finally the enhancement finnal ends and i can think for myself again" as Michella's curse stop after we kill him
mixnmatchflavourbleach2313: Streamers: How do i act shocked?
screams
Sablemae76: Streamers not doing quest lines and not paying attention
WarTalonX: My only complaint about the boss is how massive the HP bar is if you summon the NPC cooperators that don't pull their weight in the fight.
The fight is actually way easier if you don't summon them at all.
mariuss1590: All memes aside, Consort has multiple meanings, such as partener or companion, so no Miquella does not want to "smash his bro" he needs a powerful person to be his Lord, as it is necesary for an Empyrean to have his or hers consort to be able to ascend to godhood, this is stated in a scrool in the Shadow Keep
akanji8285: My boy Radahn didn’t consent to shit
DK-hk4cz: I think they do need to make some adjustments to the brightness of his moves. While I am not affected myself, people with light sensitivity or epilepsy can certainly have a hard time even seeing what the boss is doing.
dahlecho4914: I wish if we had done the ranni quest we would show up with ranni on our back when phase 2 started. Would have been so sick.
Mr.V-7: Lore Accurate Radahn would snap his fingers and crush the tarnished under the weight of gravity magic that turned off the universe.
vladtepes_the3rd: I think its a crime that radahn messmer and rellana dont have multiple health bars
Pandemos: I love how Miquella is missing the one arm that was on the other side of the egg.
nathancurnutt8074: You know I see no one talking about just how much Rahdan would actually love us and just how fucking excited he would be to fight us. Hearing about a tarnish that's running around gathering greatrunes would get that big man so happy, he might even throw a festival just so we come to fight him. For us it would be a terrifying experience, for him he would be like a teenage girl preparing for a highschool prom
imnotnice5186: Just make this boss not eat fps and visibility.
Besides that, there is one attack in phase one that needs to be fixed and holy beams need to be reworked.
Not the hardest boss, just badly designed.
protagonist9629: One thing i find interesting is that you see radahns aura in the cutscene (which could also be mohg) and it's immediately overruled by miquella's aura.
dasninjastix: I'm thinking, when people say "the hardest boss that From has made", that those people didn't solo the Cursed Defiled Amygdala in the Chalice Dungeons of Bloodborne. Because not Midir, not Isshin, not Melania, and certainly not Consort Radahn come close to that level of difficulty for a majority of the builds likely to encounter it. From has done very evil things, and many are in those Chalice dungeons, putting a large monster model that you fight in a closet with half health while they deal ng 5 or 6 damage is an offense I've yet to see From duplicate.
HuyNguyen-wq1lx: For the phase 2, they can just swap Radahn for a white screen and I doubt anyone would notice
Trigonxv1: I died once because i could not see the wind up of his next attack after the holy rays. Ffs i hope the next installment in the souls archetype gives us better dodging to match the increasing speed of bosses.
I would very much like innate built in dodge than wasting a slot on my weapon for the dodge
ssj4galactus: Radahn in lore seems to be a pretty chill guy. Loves his cat and horse, rykard who hated the golden order keeps a painting of him, messmer likes him. Looks like melania is the one that no one likes
user-ni9og6st1h: I love how miquella is cursed to forever be young. But hes still bigger than us.
alfe2800: this is one of those bosses that you can say "use everything you have and can" to survive
kirkginoabolafia3650: Whether or not you're a "git gud" type, or a casual player who was overwhelmed with the difficulty, we can all agree....they gotta turn down the damn brightness for this boss lmao. One thing to make it challenging, another thing to literally blind the player
upsideproductions2: how not to end a dlc 101, with fromsoft.
robertmoneymaker999: Mogh seek Miquella Consort: “Mogh’s a pedo!”
Miquella seek Radahn Consort: “Actually, consort has several meanings.”
Ain’t no way boy, y’all are charmed irl
theorangeman9147: Radahn is the living embodiment of how a hard boss doesn't always equal a good boss... in the second phase, first phase is pretty good lol
billdover3165: Honestly this was probably my favorite boss in the entire game not just because of how many different attack phases he seems to have but because this was the one boss that made me get better before I got to the end of the game because he was just stupidly hard. Now I don't have any problems with him and I didn't have problems before they nerved him I may have died a lot but each death was a d*** good lesson.
gabzsy4924: If you hate yourself and your ego requires you to fight him fairly to feel good and on top of that you have many, many and I mean many free hours at your disposal, sure...have at it. If you're a gamer, even a seasoned and a veteran of Souls games with a life and any sort of self care and love, you're just going to find a cheese for it. Summons, fingerprint shield and bleed build is the go to of the community right now. If you manage to defeat him solo with no cheese, I commend you, but you and I have a different meaning of what a game should be. At the end of the day I want challenge, but I still want to have fun and this is not it. Slave Knight Gael was peak FromSoftwer imho.
panchotheman4603: After finally beating this guy I was like, "welp, that was a bitch...time to go outside and get some sun! "
inspiredglue2056: Genuinely incredible fight, ridiculously hard but also completely fair as everything can be dodged with practice. Great way to wrap up a 10/10 DLC
apophisstr6719: Had to say it again,
Scudutree blessing
Scudutree blessing
Scudutree blessing
Cheeseman12822: I feel like radahn is a fight you need to go into with a fast attacking weapon, if you do it is a pretty fun fight
saverofthehumens: The only issue is the design of the "you dodged but actually didn't" rays of shite emitting out of nothing with his swings in 2nd phase. Yes I know roll into him leftward but come on, it felt like a MODDED boss half the time as I mash roll only to get about 1-2 hits in.
BezzyBee03: And no, the fight isn’t fair
AJaydedArtist: Promised Consort Radahn might be my favorite boss in Fromsoft history. 140 deaths to learn everything but i got there.
ixiahj: "What?... That's not Godwyn..."
geordiejones5618: Reminder that the intial reception of Gael, the most celebrated Souls boss, was lukewarm and it was even considered disappointing that some random NPC summons was the final boss of the Souls trilogy. Case in point, give it time, Consort Radahn pissed a lot of people off for being very challenging and will eventually be viewed positively. What WOULDN'T have been ever viewed positively is a Death Blight Godwyn boss that so many people claim to have wanted, and would have raged at even harder.
xCallMeDracox: one thing that isnt entirely true is the size of Radahn, he is smaller because as implied by the armor. This is PRIME young Rahdahn and he is actually taller than mogh by a lot.
kip9484: Made it to the final boss, I think last night on NG . I swear this dude is insane with his attacks. The 2nd phase is like fighting in a room filled with nothing but bright white light. I feel like I'm gonna have to start wearing sunglasses during the 2nd phase.
JunJunisKing: Bro spent 20 minutes to say nothing...
mesadrums375: I personally really enjoyed his fight but I get why others don’t. We probably won’t see Elden Ring 2 for at least another 7-10 years and this is the only DLC they’re doing. I wanted a final challenge, and I feel this is a great send off to a series we may never see again.
frankylother2183: "The fight is balanced?"
Hell no, it just seems unfair to me tbh. In his firts phase he has like 3 attacks that have little to no wind up, and one of those attacks (the two slashes cross slash) is litterally impossible to dodge completly on normal circumstances.
The first phase isn't too bad, leaving the attacks that I spoke about, but phase 2 feels like bs to me. All his attacks from phase 1 summon light rays that are bright af and they can stun lock you, meaning each and any normal attack is now a potential instakill, you still have the 3 attacks with no wind up (which obviously also summon rays of light), the clones attacks which are practically an instakill if they catch you and are unintuitive to dodge, an AoE which timing is too tight, and lastly, an ultra combo that will just kill you until you manage to reach the point where he does it again.
To summarize, too many bs attacks, some of them with little to no wind up, almost all of them have instakill potential due to stun lock, one of those attacks is literaly undodgeable and the room for you to attack is as small as a mole rat's hair.
It's trully a shame, because we had great bosses in this DLC who where difficult but fair, like Messmer, Midra, Bayle and Rellana, while Radahn is difficult simply bc he is unfair and unbalanced
heilokcd2703: Imma be real: The last Boss from optional content should be the Ultimate Challenge. After all, yall got all the other bosses if you want easier fights.
