gordjones2115: Old crusty isn't pulling out golden bones, it's literally an inverted erd tree sapling.
liphrium9858: After watching many lore videos on Elden Ring, I now have an official degree in Eldenology.
briannenurse4640: I don't think the Greater Will did anything to Marika's daddy. I think Marika was just an ambitious empyrean in her father's age and she did him in. But I think he was the second Lord to the Gloam Eyed Queen after Placidusax, rather than a god himself. Good video!
davisiotta489: Malekith is not Marika's half-brother, this is a translation error, in the original Japanese he is, if I'm not mistaken, called the sworn sword or adopted brother
NeroCrucible: You sound like the archeologist that becomes the villain in the end
yvngvudu: That old dude could be her first actual consort. I think that the picture shows Marika pregnant with Messmor with the old dude being the papa. Thats just me though.
nemesisundead83: I could have sworn I heard or read somewhere in the game that the "Golden order's" people brought Godwyn to the base of the Erdtree to have him reborn through the roots of the Erdtree but without his soul his body couldn't be absorbed by the tree but his death root did or something like that, technically I believe where he is buried is at the base of the Erdtree (cause they said they moved his body), well what's left of it, cause I've believed for awhile that big bright tree is fake, and the DLC should prove that fact (I can literally see through the tree) but just now realizing that the Numen runes in the ants could actually be what left of the Numen race which is shockingly sad and really really messed up but now I have way more questions about the deep root depths
ppman698: AND. I have a theory that Godrick grafted godwyns body onto himself. That would be the reason why the castle is infected, and why he had the almost rotten looking great rune. Despite his really distant heritage he is still golden lineage? Yeh cmon he most definitely had to graft a piece of godwyns body onto himself
michaeljohnston8891: Tarnished Archaeologist has a great video on the Nameless Eternal City. He posits that originally, it was above ground in the part of North Leyndell that is now a giant sinkhole. It lines up with Lowet Leyndell too, as its architectural style is definitely Noxian, in the same vein as places like Sellia and Ordina.
The theory is that the Nameless Eternal City/Leyndell saw a schism in belief between the Numen’s worship of the sacred tree and the moon. While the NEC is definitely more aligned with the Nox’s worship of the Night, Lower Leyndell shows ample evidence of tree worship in its iconography. As a side note, the site of grace that has the Omenkiller lurking outside is also the only Deathbed we can find outside of the Roundtable Hold, showing its deep connection with Erdtree worship.
specterbektormektor8615: AINT NO WAY THEY BRINGING A OTHER SWAMP THAT LOOKS LIKE BLIGHTTOWN IN THE TRAILER OH HELL NAH MEN READY THE LIGHTNING SPEARS AND FIREBOMBS
