fisch5296: Easily the best technical ER content creator, love your vids man
lawbinson: Hitmonchan vs. Hitmonlee - Elden Ring Style
carlosh9476: Wake up people, new Chrightt video.
ShinxBOOM247: One other thing worth mentioning that makes Dane's Footwork the stronger of the two options are that its Guard Counters get noticably higher damage than the Dryleaf Arts do for some reason, despite sharing the same animation
whatthebeardoin3160: The divine bird greaves boosting kick damage is a cool feature but I wish they had better fashion for a martial arts master moveset.
It's not necessarily optimal but when I spec for Arcane I like to Poison infuse the Dryleaft Arts and have the Poisoned Hand as a sidearm to do the whole "Poison Hand/Dim Mak" trope of classic martial arts media.
solomon9655: I’ve been hearing a lot of people diss the new martial arts and maybe that’s true in PvP, but in PvE I’ve been having a very fun time with them
stormiestcampfire: More like Detailed BEATDOWN
FlyBird: its gonna be a sad day when palm blast gets nerfed
CardamomYGO: Finally I understand why some HEMA people always say you are not supposed to use swords and stuff like you do in game, because those moves doesn't really look how you are actualy supposed to punch, kick or elbow.
Yeah I know it's a game, and fantasy at that. Tbf real life unarmed martial arts are disigned to fight other people, not the things you face in the Land of shadow xd
jordannoell4222: Correction on the danes footwork acquisition. You can get the dane's footwork as soon as you meet dryleaf dane, if you decide to kill him. It will lock you out of the hand to hand moveset and the rest of his quest, but if you just want the best martial arts as soon as possible you can just take the murder hobo option.
Horchata4lyfe: I can't believe asking for martial arts actually worned. Thank you all who believed in us. I've been waiting for this day for so long.
brodericksiz625: I like using the blue fairy talisman for these weapons. If you use the Stone Heart transformation, you get 10% damage negation even without any armour, and I've tested that this setup does noticeably more damage than using the chicken leg armour.
I like to infuse the footwork with bleed, use the shattered stone, rotted winged insignia, lord of blood exultation, and blue fairy talismans, though I might swap out one of these for a defensive talisman in some fights. I use Golden Vow and either a negation incantation or boiled crab to boost defensive capabilities. This is my dragon martial art setup.
buttons_: One discovery I found is that if you have Dryleaf arts in one hand and Footwork in another (or vice versa) your jumping L1 becomes jumping 2H R2. This gives you the option to use jumping 1H R2 AND jumping 2H R2 without needing to swap weapons or switch to 2H. If the poise bug comes gets patched, it could be a cool mixup for pvp. But for now, I find that it makes the moveset really dynamic and flowy.
Varjuk: Placeholder reply that won’t be replaced to the Placeholder reply that won’t be replaced.
tristanlambert658: I’ve been using poison infused Danes Footwork with The Poison Flower Blooms Twice ash of war and I’ve gotta say, this is one of the most satisfying and powerful weapons I’ve used in this game. The poison buildup is insane, allowing for constant use of the empowered ash, and the ash itself has scarlet rot buildup for you to apply whenever you’d like, sometimes I’ll just double up on rotting and poisoning an enemy and keeping it on them while I switch to another weapon as this weapon is in my offhand. It’s truly such a fantastic and fun utility tool.
