dumcat_1: dryleaf arts really needed the buff
LadyMoonboy: It’s so funny that some of the heavy attacks now have faster animations than the light attacks.
DoomsdayMayBeOkay: Net positive. Elden Ring keeps getting better
gowgox9362: Oil up youwy
pedanterrific212: DS3 was "just press R1 bro". With this patch, Elden Ring has fully come into its own as "R2: the game".
clankymocha: Fromsoft are funny, they make massive changes like this that change the entire game, but ignore obvious flaws like just how objectively bad some of the dlc weapons are (like perfumes, fire knight shortsword, etc.)
elliottcrain3097: The urge to go hand for hand with Godfrey is immense rn
Arkeon77022: This might actually be groundbreaking. Sekiro, Bloodborne, and even DS3 personally feel less clumsy with the fluidity of their attack animations. Sekiro had parry-to-slash frames, Bloodborne had dash attack tech, and DS3 had R1 infinites. Now, ER has Milady combos.
Eldan-l0rd: more damage for the same amount of speed as a light?! man this patch is a miracle
CaptinSpyke: DS2 fans win yet again this is what shortsword R2 spam trained us for
lmtalpha6382: An underated move imo is the one handed uncharged heavy of the basic twinblades (excluding the Godskin Peeler, Black Steel Twinblade and Eleonora's Poleblade). Even before the patch it was a vertical slash (which compliments the moveset of just horizontal slashes or pokes) that lunged really far and did solid damage and now it's even faster.
