The Babies hide a HORRIFIC secret Elden Ring Lore

MitridatedCarbon: They are probably made from Gelmir magma, the same magma the snake creates, which contains vengeful souls. As they break down, these souls manifest from the iron of the virgin.
danlet: Thousands of years from now when they excavate the internet they're gonna think Elden Ring was some kind of religious movement
luckyowl6432: Queen Marika the Eternal is my favorite wanton strumpet
CaptianSwan: That is so bizarre, such an easy to miss detail.
ChanceClubs: The faces, like souls sealed into the very metal of the Virgins. That's such a crazy detail. Some good musings here!
alanthe2: I’m glad a content creator started talking about the Carian connection to the Godskins. As well as the purple gem, you could take a look at Rennala’s crown with the Glintstone arrangement making it look like a snakehead and she also has what look like entwined snakes on the drapes of her robe.
TotoIsWriting: you cooked
jld7088: I always assumed that Marika was reaching into an eye in the trailer. This seemed plausible because grace always had a connection to eyes and in general there is a focus on the eyes in the game. Although, I guess eyes are sort of like wombs in the game.
user-tc4yn5gy7p: Very Bloodbornesque
falgalhutkinsmarzcal3962: Purple is obviously the color of the GEQ and the Godskins to me because purple gems feature prominently in the Godskin Peeler (which has a weapon art that summons blackflame) and the Godskin Noble set, the Noble summoning blackflame from himself (rather than from fhe Stitcher, which lacks purple gems). The fact that Maliketh's Destined Death attack was purple in vers 1.00 also hints at purple being the color of the og Blackflame. Destined Death was writ in the stars, meaning Vitality (red) was determined by the stars (blue), which together make purple (the course of one's Life, or Destined Death).
Filip6754: Happy to inform your research article has passed peer review and will be published in the next issue of the Elden-lore scientific journal.
shadquirk607: Excellent work. I do feel though that the Gloam Eyed Queen question has become the great panacea of the game. I also really enjoyed kitetales video but I do think there is too much reliance on the GEQ question solving everything. To me it feels more like the baby representation is a link to the Golden Orders removal of the normal lifecycle, removing death and replacing it completely renders birth also removed. Marika removed the ability to have children from the world, something not really mentioned in the lore community, and the abductors seem to be representations of the horror of having your ability to create life taken away.
servalkorion686: Alright time to closely examine EVERYTHING again
CenteredTarnished: Yes, and the map is a fetus in the womb. And the weeping peninsula is a smaller fetus where you have to cross the bridge of sacrifice and where the impalers catacombs is with the “help me” saying. And where a castle is literally named after the emotion of mourning. Mourn: to feel deep sorrow over someone’s death. Usually shown by wearing black clothes. Both Marika and the abductor virgin wear black clothes holding the impaler. There are about a dozen clues about child abandonment and even death long before the DLC.
MrBedZeppelin: Keep on Cookin"! Your sense to detail is strong. for an under ten-minute video, my attention stayed active, couldn't really look away. Subject interesting. Great Job! Thanks!!
