andrewknaff9220: I went into the dlc with a bolt of Gransax build. Needless to say I’m not surprised it is still rated as an S tier Dex weapon. Nor am I disappointed with my builds performance in the dlc.
thomaspeterson8357: Falx destroys malenia. My 1st time beating her with a spirit ash or blasphemous blade and it was easy. Easier than blasphemous blade even when it used to knock her down. And the revengers blade combo breaks her stance faster than takers flame used to. She never dodges revenge blade like she'd dodge takers
daemonic1317: The butcher knife got me through the whole dlc. I had 2 and was staggering bosses like crazy. Yes it is a dex weapon. The boney one in the dlc is a strength weapon.

tundranocaps: I think Guardian Swordspear is at least A, for the same reason as the Nagakiba - higher AR than anything else is... sometimes all you need. At the end of the day, ashes of war are just fancy ways to get more damage. I'd say that Bloodhound's Gang is essentially a Somber version of these weapons, that can't swap its Ash of War. You should probably run one Cross-Naginata on Cold.
One of the best things about the Swordspear and Cross-Naginata's movesets are their universality. You know how you hate using spears and thrusting swords vs mobs, or side-dodging enemies due to their lack of horizontality? Well, these weapons don't have that. And you can tailor your damage type to piercing and slashing as the situation requires, which is actually pretty important and often worth 20-40% more damage.

For Dancing Blades of Ranah, I agree, but see my discussion on a previous video of yours - combine it with Bull-Goat Talisman. That weapon with 101 poise is insane.
Though it has "total combo damage" of 20k, DPS of 20k would be insane ;-)

Edit: Zweihander probably deserves a shoutout. On Keen infusion, crazy high AR, and you can pair various sword Ashes of War with the Colossal Sword damage.
