Longboiquik: The horn sent were not trying to create warrior jars. They were trying to create Saints.
itswhiznesstime2598: I think that Radahn is actually partly 3 bosses. Not in Lore or anything but in attacks, since he has his Radahn attacks, with Mogh's body he has his bloodflame slash (which seems like bloodflame claws from Mohg) but he also has Godfrey's stomp that brings up the rocks as he stomps in front of him. Which makes sense since he looked up to Godfrey so adopting an attack from him is logical. Overall though loved the final boss fight. Although you would think since they used Mohg's body Redahn would have more of Mohg's attacks lol But seeing Radahn with Mogh wings would be a terrifying site to see hahahah
michaelmcisaac4108: I think the Hornsent were fanatical about the crucible. Imagine they have their belief system, their sweet spiral tower city, all their ritual celebrations and lion dancers and stuff, and then all of a sudden the Numen show up from their far world and settle in. The crucible is the big deal and the Numen just don’t seem to get it or care that much. They’re doing their own thing and it makes the Hornsent angry that the new kids on the block don’t think their worship is cool.
The Hornsent don’t like the Numen and conflict breaks out. Imagine the Hornsent end up taking a few Numen captive. We’ll get back to this…
Now we don’t really know why or how the Shamans are able to blend their flesh. Marika/Radagon make it seem like two distinct identities can be present with only one operating at a time, but they also seem to be able to fully separate for baby making reasons. I wonder why they merge at all. Radagon was badass. Marika is a goddess already. Why do they even need to coexist?
What if the Numen shamans are able to gain some benefit from blending into one? Marika aside, what if any two Numen shamans were able to blend to increase power or to promote healing, or some other cool thing. Now back to our previously captured shamans.
What if the crucible worshiping Hornsent were to see this blending happen for some reason? All of a sudden, these spiral worshiping believers witness what looks like a crucible experience (one of severe trial creating something new and better) personified by these two strangers, who they don’t like, and now know they can force them to fuse together.
All of a sudden you have a reason for the Hornsent to capture and torment shamans and put them in a situation where they blend. Then put them into a jar (a crucible in itself) while all diseased and poisoned and near death.
I think the Hornsent whipped and blended and jarred the shamans as a form of crucible worship. The product poisoned and twisted into something far from what the shaman do naturally for a benefit. And I think it pissed off Marika so much that she set her eyes on godhood to smack them back with authority.
I also think that her first moves to get out of the land of shadow involved her melding with the remaining shamans who would become the finger reader crones after their escape. Maybe the proximity of the shaman villages and the finger ruins in the Shadowlands has more to it than chance. We know Marika was directly influenced by them. Maybe it was a shaman thing in general and the fingers guided her in her revenge.
Anyways, this is all just speculation. But it’s fun to let the mind wander while playing. Hope it’s at least a bit entertaining.

1god705: Nah I'd win
Lordovgore: Nah I'd win
koinekko: I wonder if the shakle not working is because what it was binding was mogh's soul and not his body. Being that we are talking about a realm of gods and demigods, binding the souls seems like it would make more sense even more so if you consider this was a realm of imortals at one point.
jettblade: As much as I like the idea of some of the Lands of Shadow being in the center of the map, I'm not quite sold. There are a lot of things that don't line up geographically. For example the Cerulean Coast would be where Stormhill is. There is nothing that connects them. There are no like structures or any features that could connect them. You could argue time has altered a lot but there would still be something that would connect them. I honestly would love to see an official map of what the Lands Between looked like at that start of the Elden Ring story so we can see where things were. It would be really neat to see.

BillWood2791: 'Euphoria' describes a state of bliss.
'Euporia' means prosperity in Biblical Greek.
The weapons name makes a lot more sense when you think about it like that.
