WestCoastRothbardian: This fight nearly broke me. At one point, I managed to get her to just a SLIVER of health and croaked. Miyazaki gave Pontiff a sister, injected her with steroids, and gave her one of the most OP second phases we've ever seen. What an absolute demon of a boss.

TerdSmasher303: After watching Asmon/Zackrawr play the dlc for around 3 hours I couldnt take it anymore and oddly enough Max's playthrough pops up and he's READING shit, testing new dlc gears and just happier messing around with his commentary is a nice breath of fresh air

Edit: Also considering most of the footage of the fight was cut off, I’m guessing we’ll be seeing another Rage Boss from this game once more.

EDIT: in any other game you would use all the game's assets to power up etc. I don't get why there is an expectation to play these games with a self-inflicted handicap. And this isn't to say to those who do play this way that they're wrong, either (great if you do!), it's that shackling yourself to a standard that isn't required or necessarily encouraged by the game is your own doing and not that of the developers. if you get mad/pissed/grated and don't want to play with the summons/blessings/etc. that's a YOU issue, not FromSoft.

sushiroll3795: I play Elden Ring pretty casually, so I usually use summons and all that jazz on bosses once I stop having fun fighting them 1v1. That never happened with Rellana. I genuinely had so much fun fighting her with a Dark Moon Greatsword and shield that I grinded out attempts before beating her at some point in the 70s or 80s I think.

What an absolutely amazing boss design. Genuine props to Fromsoft for this one.

122josh: I struggled like shit on the dancing lion boss but bodied Rellana on my 3rd attempt lmao it's one of those things I love about the souls games you never know what's gonna happen in any given fight you could body the boss or you could be there for hours dying over and over again can tell that's going to be me in this DLC it's tough as nails but I'm not one to shy away from bringing my buddy Mimic Tear out if I'm struggling on a boss for 6 hours
