TheSpongyMallard: Dual heavy weapon jump attacks is still one of the scariest builds to fight. It vigor checks just about everyone. That last guy had an interesting mage build GG. Every other mage is just the same spells and Moonveil.
ItachiEspada: If you want to catch someone rolling around you, maybe start using running attacks and charged R2s to mess with their Roll-Timing. Only doing Jumps and R1 isn't getting you far against someone a little more experienced.

Now its the opposite, Dex weapons are CBT to play without status.

Bro i did a gish playthrough first, and after all the shit talk about magic i immediately tried strength... bro it was EVEN easier. Fuckin 20k dmg jump attacks, poise breaks every few hits, way more health cuz i didnt need mana, no resource management because stamina is free and all my pots were health pots, no casting time to be punished.

My final conclusion was "okay so strength players saw 2 broken spell casting builds and universally decided magic was easier without ever actually trying it. Got it."

shevankaseneviratne1724: zanny u cant spam rot, run away and throw fan daggers then blame the opponent for not having gap closers or boluses and then expect mages to not play to their strengths, which is staying out of range and whittling down health.Cuz now its you without the gap closers . The mage was ironically not even the best mage build out there he was int faith using lots of cool but sub optimal spells. His real super power was light roll. And yeah strength builds are good now but u shoudlve seen the reign of dual cross naginatas or raptor talons. Dex was undisputed for years.
