ZangBa2: Dark Souls 1 being too old seems kind of ironic, considering WC3 is your main game. Good games are never too old!

gorgeouszan: I've been watching and following Grubby for years and in that time often joked about Dark Souls stream when? (at the time Grubby played nothing but Warcraft 3 and HotS). So it was a surprise and a delight that Elden Ring joined the voting for games to try...and even more so to see how much Grubby was enjoying himself. The Soulsborne family of games are something truly unique and special within the gaming space. They tell you "we're challenging but fair and we won't change that for you, now, come climb the mountain". I cannot think of any other game series that fills you with such a sense of accomplishment when you finally beat a boss and it's addicting to see others experience that same elation. Welcome to the Souls family, Grubby. Try finger, but hole.
RxCthulhu: I recently convinced a friend to play through dark souls remastered AFTER he had played some of the modern FS titles. He told me that there's something about DS1 that is engaging that the other souls games do not have. I think you'll enjoy it and learn to appreciate why dark souls was so impactful in the gaming community.

disclaimin: I know you keep saying Dark Souls 1 might be too old for you to enjoy, but trust me that this will not be the case as someone who played it for the first time with the 2018 remaster. It holds up extremely well, and you'll mostly be right at home coming from Elden Ring -- even the UI is almost identical.

As far as other Souls games in the future, they are all worth playing, but musts are DS1, Bloodborne and Sekiro.
