LVL 1 Elden Ring is Very Fking Hard

RellikYT: do NOT do this to yourself
IAm.Messmer.Brother.Of.Malenia: my guy went from jogging to a triathlon
DK-oy6mp: Nahh Radahn did more mental damage to our boy then we thought

Bros got Stockholm
rektlegend1844: Bro is just torturing himself at this point
w1le.: unc is NOT cut out for this
notshxd0w: Bro misses radahn so much
DumboyMikey: Bro im telling y'all this shackles Arc is GOING CRAZY!
kryppo4245: Bro gonna be on the suicide watch list if he does lvl 1 radahn
MysticalZavier: Elden ring made him addicted to pain bruh
elsyee3457: dog begging for boiling water on the stove
Lance_Mastiff: I swear every thumbnail Afro has is really cool to see
kyloarsenal4032: Afro, idk if u really want to do this to yourself, but if u do here's some tips:
1. For a level 1 run, anything is allowed besides actually levelling up in the menu, any other restrictions (no summons for example) are extra that you place on yourself
2. Talismans are massively important, especially stat boosting ones like radagon's soreseal. Get that immediately to make ur life much easier, and expand your potential weapon pool
3. As far as weapons go, you should definitely use a status effect like bleed or frost or even rot (i recommend iron balls and/or star fist but they do have low range)
4. Breaking stance will be a lot easier and more important now that u know the boss movesets somewhat, so take advantage (btw tree sentinels cannot be reposted, just charge atk on stagger)
5. Don't be afraid to look things up or skip ahead to get setup better, you already beat the game, you don't need to play this linear. go to altus early to get geared if you want
6. Another extremely important and helpful talisman set are the Ritual Sword/Ritual Shield talismans. these will save you from getting one shot on later bosses and make you do more damage
7. Don't forget about the temp stat boost tears for your Physick Flask. the strength and dex add 10 and the int and faith add 5, each for 3 minutes, which is enough for a boss usually (this again expands your weapon pool further)
8. Finally, if you are interested, a souls youtuber named Jordien has a very helpful video doing all main bosses at level 1 with a 0 weapon, so if you ever get stuck on a boss you could check that out for some tips on dodges or safe punishes

Honestly I think you can complete this challenge, but you need to go into it without ego and just use what the game gives you to beat it. dont get stubborn like with radahn, it won't end well
MrRobot-xs5jf: Afro coming back to ER for a RL1 run is like when you come back for Night 6 in FNAF
SacredWalrus: Level 1 runs can be super difficult or pretty manageable depending on whether or not you use the strongest possible items and use guides or take advice. As someone who has done many souls challenge runs including level 1 runs (many of which abusing guides and the best possible equipment) I highly recommend you use something like that or at least take advice from friends or viewers because raw dogging it your first time doing a challenge run like this can be soul crushing. Good luck on this run if you choose to continue it!
KPNGU: Afro is slowly becoming a fromsoft addict and im here for it
KyubiCloaks: Afro, I've been a fan for years. I genuinely mean this with love and to look out for your sanity, you are not good enough to do the lvl 1 run. Not even a diss most people arent
JDWalker495: Afro in an abusive relationship with this game

He keeps coming back
Kira_Official_: Bro, seeing Jev in an Afro video was not on my bingo card, but damn I ain't mad about it! Honestly, two of my favorite creators of all time!
yellowguy3412: Insanity: repeating the same action over and over again expecting different results
arsene.5220: Kai beating Bloodborne before Afro is Crazy
KratosEdits935: Bro hates himself
mystut306: As a person whos already completed the base at level 1 and is currently working on the dlc, my advice:

Get the radagon soreseal and godricks great rune early, along with stat boosting tear or talisman. This will open up many options in weapons you can use, without which you are very limited in choices. My personal favorites are the Serpent-Hunter (particularly good as it has no stat requirements meaning you can use it anytime), star fists, misericorde and dual great hammers. Bleed and frost infusions are also good options on weapons.

The opaline hardtear (the protectective bubble) is a life safever in fights where you get one hit.

There are 2 types of perfumes that are very good at level; the uplifting aromatic and bloodboil aromatic. Uplifting provides a protective bubble and a free damage boost, while the bloodboil is the best physical damage buff in the game.

Idk if youll even see this but best of luck!
-TheRealAnimeFan-: this Coughing baby vs Atomic Bomb run is insaneā€¦ lol
zyonith: nah the slight zoom in on put these foolish ambitions to rest was peak comedy
jordanlee8680: Radahn gave this man so much PTSD he became a maschocist
BSJINTHEHOUSE420: Bro thought he was built for this
