Inside The Frenzied Flame World Elden Ring

uncleol: I wish they made the post ending map change with each ending. Maybe in the Frenzied flame ending you would get to explore the burned world, and then fight Melina.
sunbleachedangel: Imagine a post frenzy map where all the vegetation is removed, all the enemies are gone and it's just all a desert
itsryannxox: I would have loved for the world state to change based on whatever ending you gotten. With how striking of a visual the erdtree is, and how its visible from everywhere, it would have made each ending even more impactful. Also would have nice for taking screenshots and getting different lighting in different areas.
kharnsagara: Imagine discovering a hidden map. A whole new elden ring map but with frenzied flame tearing chunks of earth away, weird deformed and half bodied creatures of the old map that are taken by the frenzied flame. New bosses, born into existence to then carry out the will of the flame to go and destroy the old gods
PierceArner: It's interesting that the Frenzied Flame version of the tree seems to have all the outer gold bark peeled off of it as it erupted from within.

While it'd be neat to've been playable, it also would've locked a whole unique map into a particular character path, which definitely would've been unfortunate.

I'm also wondering if the stone tablets on Marika's site of grace might've been just were they were populating assets to line the room with them. It is interesting that there's a version of that room with a lot more tablets though.
not_a_bt.wavformat2909: You are so talented I bet that took a real chunk of time to get the map working thanks so much for doing that you’re straight up awesome
Get some rest you deserve it
Wolf05227: I was led here by a tiny little Gwyndolin on my shoulder that told me to look at a burnt piece of meat. And how fascinating that was. It would be cool if each ending version of the world was playable. I know for ones like the frenzied flame ending, It'd be difficult, but still. Can't say I'm a fan of the Erdtree and the Roundtable hold being perpetually on fire regardless of what you do.
goldenbough6563: As you entered the erdtree sanctuary, you passed a gauntlet of statues featuring an old man rising from a coppiced tree stump. These statues aren't found on this upper level in-game. Is their presence here accidental or could it indicate they were here in an earlier version of the game?
CocoNut-yd1ri: Dang, was really hoping those fingerprints extended out beyond the walls (or existed in the non-cutsxene version of the map at all) but still, glad to see the frenzied version of the map at all!

Considering the Melina cutscene I can imagine they're was to be a final boss fight with her in the capital at some point, and to get really tin foil hatty, i could see the stone tablets being a sort of placeholder in the bedchamber for a fallen branch that was implied to have pierced the skylight. Of course thays complete conjecture, but its fun to think about. Thabks for another interesting dive into the oob! Cant wait to see where you go next
Necromancer-CC: Im still disappointed we didn't get the funny fire head
helixmoss9957: In Dragon's Dogma 2, there is a secret world state where most of the map changes into an appocolytic version which is fully explorable with new enemies and bosses, which is pretty cool
Umbra_Ursus: Honestly weird there isn't a post-game of the Frenzy ending. The made a unique version of the Erdtree for it, and seemingly a whole skybox for it, so why not have it stay like that? It's not like it could burn everything everywhere that quickly, we'd still have a map to poke around.
