For anyone still struggling with radahn I wanted to post some general advice that I found helped me a lot in his fight

1. The timings for combos between phase 1 and phase 2 are basically identical so if you can master his move set in phase 1 you can demolish him in phase 2 just watch the position of his arms before he launches an attack as that’s the most clear indicator I found to determine when his combo ends

2. Do (not) run away. Radahn has a lot of reach and is hyper aggressive so panic rolling/running away from him is guaranteed to fuck you over

3. Try not to summon while learning the boss. One of the biggest issues I’ve seen people have is the boss switching targets mid combo which causes them to get blindsided and panic since they haven’t learned the move set so for the first few learner runs try and go in solo to get a feel for his timings and combos before bringing in summons if you want/need the extra dps and someone else to take aggro for you

4. Violate Radahn’s personal space harder than miquella already has. Sticking close to Radahn’s right leg and groin specifically seems to not only bait out the most punishable combos in his move set but it also keeps you safe from the trailing light attacks while letting you see what’s gonna happen next

5. Stay calm. The biggest killer in this fight is panic especially in phase 2 where it feels like he’s going full “random bullshit go” mode but you’ve already got everything you need to excel at this point so take a deep breath and put the poor general and mohg out of his misery and send miquella to juvenile detention where he belongs

6. Play how you want to. Do not feel bad about pulling up a cheese build if everything else fails or if you just want to be done with it there is no shame in beating the boss on your own terms in the way you find the most enjoyable same goes for using summons both player and npc

I hope this helps someone who is either still struggling with the boss or preparing to face him for the first time you can do it :)
