societyman6591: This hammer never dropped from the knight in that church because of the version I was playing with. Apparently if you are playing 1.12 instead of 1.12.1 that knight drops the shield and you are locked out of getting this hammer at all. Considering I paid $40 dollars for this and I don't want to spend another hundred hours getting a character through the game just to get this weapon again, I really hope From finds another way to add this weapon to the game.

lukedavis2490: This video is so reassuring because I played with two scythes (winged scythe and miquella’s light scythe) for my entire play through, and last night decided to switch it up and go for almost this EXACT build on a whim. It hits so hard, i’m loving it. Great minds think alike
D00MTR33: I love the black Knight chest armor. Before, Altered Ronin chest was my favorite looking one but the BK looks awesome and has better stats. Looks amazing with Malicat gauntlets and I'm wearing Moore legs because i like the look better that Lionel for heavier armor (but BK, Malicat or even Night Cavalry work as well) because I'm wearing either thief mask or headband on my female character because they look great but don't offer any defense.
I wish i knew the shield was a guaranteed drop from a certain enemy (after a while i kinda figured it's like the hammer was) instead of spending 40 minutes farming one to never get it.
alanjohnson8622: All i know is lions claw with this weapon is s tier. I’m batting everything. I beat dancing lion with mimic on my second try and rellana first try. This is my main weapon with malady as my secondary. No shield either. The guard counter still slaps with just the hammer
alkay2505: Nice video, but unfortunately you won't get the Black Steel Greathammer on PS5 if you hadn't updated to calibration 1.12.1 before killing the knight. That is so annoying and it seems as if they can't fix it. Now I have to wait for another playthrough before giving it a try. That sucks so bad.
JUDPT: This Hammer is carrying me through the DLC with Savage Lion's Claw, also has excellent Arcane scaling! I use the Haligtree Greatshield for Guard Counters
