cebbygamer8598: "My child died from a mass shooting
Esponea_482: Sorry guys, I got a bit unhinged with the maidens again…
rickplayzyt6277: This is as bad as a bungie dev comparing teabagging to sexual assault a couple of years ago
Ridif00lous: Title : Elden Ring's Most UNHINGED Player...
A few seconds into the video : "Reddit"
Well here's the problem
IridescentKySoul: Im thankfull for every invader telling me not to come to Raya Lucaria Acadamy tomorrow
Boinks-xr8go: How does someone compare school sh**ting to a game? That’s just absurd
milkinobama8160: “Hmm, what can I compare to a invader that is actually unhinged and makes me look like I’m clinically online?”
motivepigeon: 3 people going at you with pve builds is infintley more terrifying then one person with a pvp build.
Trying to dodge blasphemous blade and the mages projectile vomit on thier own is manageable, together is absolutely painful.
doccraft2000: What Jimmy did:
engages in conversation with Chuck
What Jimmy should actually have done:
type "*hands Clarifying Boluses*" and leave the conversation
mantis7331: "needs to remain anonymous"
*shows the source of the comments lmao
yalhexander5641: "Because it's a school not a battlefeild" My guy Elden Ring IS a battlefield!
This analogy only works if you where able to play Elden Ring and invade Animal Crossing!
carian_moon: Well, this is Reddit we are talking about where people don’t want any adversity or challenge in life so, I’m not that surprised.
Lemongrass_gaming: Elden ring Reddit is just a copypasta factory lol
Xellos14: After trying invasions for Varre's questline, Elden Ring did what I didn't think could be done to a FromSoft game: Made me feel legitimately bad for invaders.
claykc9918: Gotta love how Redditors, usually seeking conflict and mild trolling, just were so taken aback by this madness they all kindly told him to go see a therapist. He actually made Redditors have genuine concern for him.
ichigomasaru: I'm on the Cute side of PvP invasion
sasaki999pro: Remember the thriving PvP ecosystem DS2 and DS3 had? With invaders, neutral mad phantoms, zone specific guardians, blue phantom protectors that were actually worth a damn, the seed of a tree of giants compensation for players who were getting harassed to much
When ever you went online it didnt feel so one sided whether you were hosting or invading, it felt like you were entering a chaotic free for all where anything could happen.
Outclassed2011: Homie didn't participate in the AMA, he just participated in the "Tell us you never played DS2 without telling us" challenge and won.
kanaria-cu3uv: "don't come to raya lucaria academy tomorrow."
- an invader
bj_renan: Unhinged player? Please don't be me.
skyeagain5174: wild that they don't realize that things are actually heavily scaled against the invader
ORCANORCA881: "The only difference is who the target is."
Really? That's the only difference? Maybe another difference could be, oh, I don't know, that one isn't real life?????
madcashewnutjob3345: My brothers and I are doing a coop run of Elden Ring. I’ve beaten the game, my older brother played it and didn’t like it (he likes DS3 more), and my younger brother is playing through for the first time. Invasions happen frequently and have been the source of a lot of pain and enjoyment. We take turns fighting the invader. Consecutive 1v1v1s. Honor and all that. Admittedly it got a lot harder after the DLC release and we encountered weapons that we have no idea how to fight.
halazars4366: I hate invaders make no mistake but he's comparing them to WHAT?!
Whit3xRabbiT: Wow. That dude needs some real therapy. Nothing about his “argument” says stable, especially the school shooter comparison. It’s part of the game. I can’t imagine him online dealing with MW2 game lobbies. If you know you know.
TtheNumber45: Chuck should just use seamless coop and disable the invader setting
malikevans634: You know who else kills you unprovoked and without remorse? Bosses. Regular enemies. *Bloody fingers*.... Oh wait.
TheAzul_Indigo: Man, don’t you hate it when you have to fight multiplayer enemies in your multiplayer fighting game? Smh.
The_Ragequit_Cannon: Another way to give invaders the bird is something that's already been mentioned in this channel before. If you're in Caelid, specifically at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion, interact with the altar. You're basically invincible because their attacks just pass through you harmlessly. Unless they patched that
ahigherplace1542: My guy is a supposed dragon slayer, tarnished lord, god destroyer, but can't deal with what is basically a red highway robber lol
aTypicalMushroom: Invading sucks so hard in DLC anyways.
Spawn right next to invaders so you get spam killed to death, Invade into a boss fight so you get sent back right away, you have idk how many gank squads are out running around, then the disgusting meta builds and broken items you come across, and of course horrible across map invade spawns. Overall not a fun time if you invade!
TheHorreK2: I think it was a really bad desicion to not include a simliar system for Coop/PvP as in DS3 with its covernants. That way you had both reasons for Invasions and to help other players against said Invasions. You got rewards for Online-Play and some sort of Guild or Covernant System would even work perfectly with the Elden Ring World, considering all of its Factions and different moving parts.
robertwalton434: It’s fine if you don’t like pvp. Go through the areas solo, and then summon your buddy next to the fog wall.
Hastur-1990: Are invasions frustrating when they occur at inconvenient times? Yes
Have invasions been the cause of some of my most fun and memorable moments in the game? Absolutely yes! Including the times I have been brutally slaughtered just before retrieving my runes.
fearlessfailure2848: I hate PVP, and the invasion mechanic, but that is ridiculous.
Genojo: Imagine those mofos playing any of the Dark souls games just to realize that they can get invaded without their babysitters. I cant imagine what would they compare the Dark Souls invaders with lol.
