YourMasterDennis001: For anyone wondering about the Rellana’s weapon.
If you boost into intelligent and faith to their reasonable max per your level, the ashes are a lot stronger but the sword attacks suck. If you spec into strength and dex per your preference, you basically sacrifice the ashes for way higher sword damage.
Also L1 or LB starts the sword attack combo with the faith sword, where R1 or RB begin as normal with the magic blade.
I don’t think he addressed that and I don’t doubt that he’s noticed that stuff by now lol. But that’s the run down! I had a high faith strength build so the fire damage and starting combos with L1 was my best option.
Other than that the dlc weapons are all just less powerful than the peak items of main game in general and you shouldn’t expect too much from them.

8kknight145: as much as i love rellanas twin blades they're so underwhelming, they should be stronger and more useful, same with radahns swords
MREmrdzcn: Rellana's swords aren't dual wielding/power stancing. They are a paired weapon. That's why their attacks are with R1. Same with every other paired weapon (claws, fists, hand-to-hand, backhand blades etc.)
Ibedibe: Using the 'keen impaling thrust' ash of war on the milady does crazy stance damage (especially with the tear).
user-zq1uc5cg7x: I absolutely love relanna’s twin blades but they are most definitely much better at a lvl 200 or higher build. At 150 you just don’t have the stat points you need to make it shine since it scales off of 4 stats. With 80 int and 80 faith the ash of war is actually hella good!
