MultiAFroDuck: me and my friend got invaded on seamless, we had started a new game, and were in the middle of a cave when someone showed up, we had no idea it was an invader because he looked like a host of fingers, and were caught off guard, but we laughed so hard, dont mind it honestly, i just prefer the seamless coop version of coop than the vanilla

avalokitesvara4092: To deactivate invasion : "In the document where you would set the co-op password, there is an option at the very top to disable invasions. Just put in "0" where it says "1"."

“It's very easy to do, so if you don't know how to do it you deserve to be invaded” is perfectly stupid. It's trivial if you know it, but if you don't know you can't make it up.

When setting password for co-op, there is a section at very top of that document to turn off invasion (allow_invaders = 1). Replace the “1” with “0” to disable the invasion feature!

This is in case you just wanna enjoy the world with your friends only. But like the video said, invasion in seemless is much better than vanilla.
KireRex: This is how invasion should work. As a true option. I don't like PvP on those types of games and so I will never like invasion and I'm just as right as those who like it. Putting just those who like it together is a better experience for everyone involved. Those that don't like will not have a bad time and thoso who like will have a better time

zolizoli197: Honestly I feel like Fromsoftware is too comfortable with the system, it's worked better each time and was always acceptable enough for the players to use, so some ground breaking reinvention like this I guess will never happen
bradcolson6463: I am able to read and disabled invasions, I have people I play with that only have 2-3 hours an evening to play. Well we would rather spend it getting kicked around by a dungeon or the like then dealing with persons who's fun we feel is secondary to our own. I also fully understand and encourage you to invade and be invaded by others that are of that same mind set I fully believe that if people can talk to each other and not act like brain rot monkeys we can all find a common ground.
absolutetruth2481: as an invader the health pot changes is kinda confusing lol the invaders should be at a disadvantage and considering the host and friends could not have all there pots when invaded made it work out well. you also rly shouldnt need to go through all your pots to win invasions lol
rillypro: To disable invasions just go into a file that has you make a passoword for sessions, then at the top change the number from 1 to 0 on the invasions line before launching game and ur safe. (ersc_settings) (this is the players choice at the end of the day)
azurethegamerkobold5434: People are just annoyed that its on by default, since most of us using seamless dont want to deal with invasions but you can still just turn it off in the ini file so its not a big deal. Bigger issue is that it broke pve invasions and i'm still waiting for that fix to continue my playhthrough. Personally if i was gonna do invasions i'd just play the base game...
