FlyingFox86: Blade of Mercy seems like it would synergize well with a dedicated guard counter build: Black Steel Greathammer and Curved Sword talisman for extra guard counter damage, then Blade of Mercy and Dagger talisman for massive crit damage after stance breaking the boss. Then you still have the damage buff for 20 seconds, making your guard counters even stronger.

Edit: about the Blessed Blue Dew talisman, a good comparison is the Ancestral Spirit's horn. That talisman only gives 3 FP on every kill. That means it is only better than the Blessed Blue Dew talisman if you consistently kill more than one enemy every 6 seconds. Even the Assassin's Cerulean Dagger isn't necessarily better with it's 15 FP, especially outside of boss fights. You'd need to do a critical more than once per 30 seconds, which is not always feasible.
