Elden Ring DLC New Miquella Ending Cutscene Found in Files! DLC CUT CONTENT

Dujma: messmer voice change is most probably done due to lore reasons.

the trailer is portraying him as he is acting in the height of his crusade, pretending to be as menacing as possible to please his mother's wishes.

doing something he himself didn't want to do, but did only for Marika.

But, when we reach him in the game, he is already tired of pretending, broken from being abandoned in the realm of shadow.

you can hear him struggling in his voice.

It's done beautifully

nobuffer101: Now that I think about it, the DLC never explained anything that connected Miquella to Torrent despite it being shown in the promotional art...

NaK-R: The cut one is better, is focused more about his main goal rather than his husband

DDespicable: I think the dlc is just missing that one npc to give the closing word.

Artorias of the abyss: had the grandmother mushroom to say we are the true hero.

Crowns of the old kings: had vendrick to hand us our crown and new ending.

The ringed city: had the painter to say we helped her create a gentle new world.

Heck even the doll in bloodbourne said we did good at the end of the old hunters.

rexlumontad5644: Miquella in Elden Ring: Best Boi

bananadoppiotm1088: They called me a madman…CURSE YOU, BAYLE

Micolashcage1: Miquella used to have a bow?

Gwyndolin confirmed

ridetoruin: I like the cut dialogue. I like that the start matches Ranni’s ending cinematic, almost like that phrasing is required to ascend to godhood.

Asteriarimia: Considering how much Miquella's cut dialoge resembles the speech that Ranni does in her ending and the cutscene we saw in the trailer, i feel like it could have been an alternate ending either for the DLC or for the base game that they scrapped.

NathanTruby: I hope they do another smaller DLC that addresses the major loose ends like the gloam eyed queen, godwyn and Melina as a whole

BrvtusVG: The Messmer dialogue sounds like different line readings from the same actor, which is standard practice.

Writh811: Hmmm... I think they changed the dialogue because it was waaaaay too close to Ranni's speech in her ending. At first I thought this was a troll video because it starts exactly the same as Ranni's speech. As to the changes in Messmer's voice it still sounds like the same actor but for the trailer they used clean audio and for the ingame they added echo and such to reflect the sound bouncing around the room.

I also for the first time noticed when the original cutscene is playing when Miquella puts his face near Radahn as he says "Yield the path to us" Radahn looks down and away... like... shame or embarrassment or disappointment. Perhaps this small gesture is meant to be another fearther in the "unwilling Radahn" theory cap.

someoneinasia: i was like: wait that's it? no ending cutscene, nothing?

as you said, in the trailer miquella remove the veils that cover the land of shadow, presumably returning the land of shadow to the lands between. i was expecting that kind of an exiting ending but what we got is a disappointing abrupt end.

vail2367: Bro had infinite health vs Radahn

mrpresedin3534: The bow probably radahn lion bow which is absent here.

Miquella is a golden order fundamentalism who is known for creating many amazing weapon including enchant it.

Like the miquelan knught sword.

Pulley bow and crossbow. And etc

Miquella also shown with three arms which supposed to be four but the missing one is st trina.

Knowing radahn size it would be normal to assume at certain point miquella will using a bow to support radahn

Pennybags37: I would not be surprised if at some point in development there was some meant to be some supposed Age of Compassion ending, as this speech she gives almost exactly mirrors the one Ranni gives in the Age of the Stars ending cutscene. The description for the Circlet of Light even mentions that it would've been the basis for her mending rune. It could've been that an Age of Compassion ending was intended early on in the development and that they repurposed it for Promised Consort, Radahn before just scrapping the whole thing and recording new lines.

IchbinX: Miquella Before: "I'm here big bwotha! uWu tarnished, pwease wet us win!"

Miquella Cut: balls drops

somebody4094: originally, at least according to insiders and leakers, two DLCs for Elden Ring were thought of but due to the leaks themselves and probably internal choices following these, in the end it was decided to publish everything compacted into a single expansion and probably a lot of the material was lost lost in the fusion of the two ideas and assets retained by the various projects can still be found

Micolashcage1: Tell us the truth GOE. you made the final boss

The29Dave: At this point I'm convinced Miyazaki just cuts out shit at random to artificially make his games seem more mysterious.

GuildmasterMuri: I really dont understand some of from's decisions when it comes to what should be cut content and what shouldnt be. Like sometimes they just straight up keep something more interesting than the final product because of... whatever reason they have

nikosuarez2021: Malenia and Miquella are the characters with the most cut content that would lead to a more interesting story that they gave us from both of them. you can't change My Mind

ALaz502: I think they wanted to actually merge the maps at the end but couldnt due to tech limitations.

Hence why the veil is gone in that cutscene.

debiluspegus8236: I have a question, do we have any traces of godwyn in cut content? Because I refuse to believe that he wasn't supposed to play a major role in the dlc

ShadyOakMinistries: The idea of Miquella having a bow might actually be a huge Bible reference. In Revelation 6, the four horsemen of the Apocalypse are a callback to the book of Zechariah when spiritual entities are reporting and influencing global politics. The first of the riders is a white rider holding a bow, and later passages in chapter 13 clarify it will be through the promise of false peace. If that is the idea they had in mind, it's pretty hardcore they'd have people who did their homework enough include that little detail about the biggest baddie in Elden Ring and the introduction of the Antichrist.

debiluspegus8236: An important question, is there any trace of godwyn content in the cut content that the community found? Because I refuse to believe that he wasn't supposed to be a major point of the dlc

Games4Days912: Radahn loved WAR. He wouldn't give 2 shits about the age of compassion. Dude is a monster.

eBlas15: have you seen that if you don't advance the main story and not burn eldtrer, Guideon has dialogue about miquella now

andregregory1663: I liked Messmer better in the final version and he turned out to be my favorite character of the dlc. He basically accepted being the Devil, the one who should look after Hell; like Hades did in Greek myth, for his mother's sake, for her Land to function, the counterpart of Marika's paradise.

Vitemcpipe: I think the reason they scrapped the line for Marika is that they didn't want the players to know that ending-wise, Marika was trying to do the same thing as Ranni with the reference to the 1000 years and all and ridding the world reigned by gods, the only difference being that Ranni wants everyone to have the freedom of being, whilst Marika wants to be a god of kindness. Ranni just wants everyone not to be controlled by god but knows that if her reign last forever she will be no different than a god. Marika's 1000 years of kindness has no lore reason as to why she wants 1000 years, she wants the world to have compassion, kindness and all that, forever, but she doesn't know that if she turns into a god, she have to force people who don't want kindness and compassion to be so, and that is no different than a god, even if it's the moral good thing to do.

beans9532: I like the cut dialogue for miquella more. Reminds me of the Vaati lore dive on miquella. He talks about cut content as well, about how miquella wants all things to flourish whether good or “rotted” and how he’s considered “the god of abundance”

somebody4094: the bow is clearly gwyndolin time

onizuka: cut content is 1 thing, mistranslated dialog and text is another.

"shaman village", when it has a deeper meaning...jp it's shrine maiden /miko village
