syelallouch: *Taps coffin
Come get y'all's juice
DTGeorge: Atleast there's not any Putrescent Gargoyles in the DLC
aplix747: It's a really interesting idea that since the erdtree's roots etc have covered the lands between, the only way to prevent the "unworthy" or the enemies of the erdtree from being reborn is to physically send them away from the lands between.
duskmike8526: Hi, this is an actually an oversight. In an interview with miyazaki, he states the black putrescent sludge is actually “g fuel”, a liquid which is also contained in the blessings of marika.
supernova00500: You might be onto something.
A synonym for mass graves is a "Potter's Field" due to the fact that the mass of decaying corpses helps contribute to the formation of clay in the earth, and given that it's implied the Claymen are formed of clay, it may actually be purposeful in the correlation.
VictorIV0310: Balam Industries sponsored field trip.
chancetherappersburner6338: WE HAVE COME FOR YOUR NECTAR
lilchris9cmb: Making mass graves as coffin ships to send them to the land of the dead is such a cool concept.
realkingofantarctica: Gas station coffin juice f'ed me up so bad, I coveted Destined Death and renounced the opps from their existence.
WackDakAttack: The forbidden lean.
everybody_awful: "coffin liquor" is not to be confused with "coffee liqueur".
jackgude3969: This was the wrong video to watch while enjoying my protein shake
DTGeorge: I've always found the idea of the Putrescent Knight being the corpse of Radahn and Leonard interesting. Radahn would be smaller because he wouldn't have his great rune anymore, and since he died together with Leonard it makes sense they would be together. Miquella would take them but he realized that the rot on Radahn is untreatable like Malenia's so he discarded their remains in the Stone Coffin Fissure where Putrescence brought them back, like we see with the skeletons in the Fissure
clayzulah: Putrefaction is a concept in alchemy that corresponds to discarding unwanted qualities of the self in the process of distilling one's "true" self - given the Stone Coffin Fissure's role in Miquella's story I feel like that had to be a major influence on the design and theming of the area
SyndicateOperative: Huh. Thanks for explaining this, I didn't even realise they were meant to be ships. I was just annoyed by the presence of many repeated giant tombstones.
ultimatemoose2150: Would be cool if you checked what Wego says when he resurrects the rotten corpses at the drained Church District
VoidAbaddon: Some of the pillars in the dynasty areas actually portray the stone coffin ships, too, so it seems pretty likely.
23not32: The Uhl connection is very interesting. I will add that as it can be seen in the video, the Clayman have a weapon that is literally an harpoon, and that resonates with the naval theme of the ship-coffins.
