Elden Ring 2 Seems VERY Likely

cwill14: Messmer did nothing wrong.
reddrunner: I'd be very surprised considering Miyazaki's stance on sequels in general. Heck Dark Souls 3 whole theme was about the stagnation of doing the same thing over and over again.
neverblockhit2934: Imo I wouldn't care if friends
From soft will make a new game as big as elden ring, Miyazaki already said he's got other smaller sized games in development and that's fine for me.
Yeah ER 2 could be cool, but they could honestly just give us another dlc possibly surrounding Godwyn and the dragons and that would satisfy the majority of the players
jayb7775: The lack of conclusion for Melina's special ending cutscene is glaring. Why do I go through the trouble of sparing her, then removing the Frenzied Flame, only to have NO impact on the end of the story....
AstonishingRed: Miyazaki is on a completely different plane of thinking than most. To many people, Elden Ring 2 is an obvious financial direction that Fromsoft should take. But Miyazaki has vision and always always thinking about the next thing.
mr.bojangles2580: ER Fans: “Elden Ring DEFINITELY deserves a sequel, and thus will get one!”

Bloodborne Fans: “Sit down, buddy. We need to talk…”
EJaDav: If we get Elden Ring two and I don’t see a Godskin Duo 2 then I’m boycotting FromSoft
cleversasquatch: I was addicted to Elden Ring for almost the entire time leading up to the DLC. There were other games, but I kept returning to Elden Ring. If there is another Elden Ring or something similar there goes another two years of my life.
dagjish: Elden ring was amazing. But there should not be a sequel. FromSoft does their best work when they explore new ideas. Dark souls 2 and 3 were good, but not close to their best. Let elden ring go out with a bang and have From do what they do best and cook something new.
Anchor-Supreme: I honestly just want another DLC, not a new game. Yeah, that sounds crazy, but I’m not gonna lie, there’s a LOT of questions that were not answered in the DLC and changes that need to be made.

IMO, From needs to focus on creating and implementing a seamless coop experience, overhaul weapons that were neglected (Dragon Greatclaw, as an example), and maybe add more to barren areas like Mountaintop of the Giants.

An ER2 would be great, but I’d prefer they actually finish the game that’s currently being played, cause it’s painfully obvious that a lot was cut and sacrificed in development.
soumyadeepbanerjee964: If they make more Elden Ring games, they will have to be very careful with how hard they lean into the combat/difficulty side of things moving forward.
With the DLC, I did sense some stagnation despite enjoying it.
SilicatYT: I started playing Elden Ring 1 year after release as my first soulslike. I would've never expected that I was about to play what was going to become my alltime favorite game.
If From Software think an Elden Ring sequel is a good idea, I would be all in for it. I just adore this world, the mechanics, the architecture, the lore, the dark horror aspects...
Zarturael: I mean, just from a business point of view it would be absolute insanity not to do Elden Ring 2, not to mention the huge popularity amongst the player base, so it's definitely very likely, but just a matter of time
bangs9982: didn’t miyisaki say there’s no part 2
apophisstr6719: Tbh, if they're going to make a new ER or Souls-like title, the original formula of combat will have to evolve significantly to meet the demands of ever increasing difficulty and elaborately designed bosses, player character's movements in ER just felt so primitive compare to the things you fought that it literally looked awkward at times.
InnoMori: Miyazaki quite literally said he has no plans for a sequel
jaisalrw3494: Fromsoft needs to reinvent or upgrade the standard souls formula, otherwise they are just one game away from being considered the kind of devs who make the same game every rotation like CoD. People are happy for now but that can easily change with one release.
王奕翔-y4w: The next masterpiece:
The world-building of Dark Souls
The weapons of Bloodborne
The combat system of Sekiro

The perfect Souls-like game.
Ritesh.sehgal420: I dont understand why they would go for elden 2 instead a dlc, as many of the previous souls games had 2 or more dlcs. However mabey fromsoft wants to expand further on unexpanded ideas, so i shal let them cook up. Cuz ik elden 2 is gonna be fire
LaughTalePainting: They seemingly always do two DLCs to wrap things up... Ringed City & Old Hunters

I just wish they'd announce a Director's Cut with more content or announce a FINALE DLC that pulls everything together, instead of what just raised more questions at the end of Shadow of the Erdtree - as well as provide players with more options for things they must have took out at the last second, weapons and spells, items and questlines
LevovitLore: Good video. I definitely think we will get at least a spiritual sequel of the ELden Ring. Another huge open-world game. But I doubt it gonna be in the same universe as Elden Ring. (But obviously, I want ER 2 really badly. Wee need to close those holes)
Boss_Fight_Index_muki: Considering Fromsoft bought out the entire Elden Ring IP (for a very hefty sum from Bandai Namco), they're def gonna make a new one.
