2. Use the conoction on the npc at the dragon altar at night.(before you fight bayle)
3. When the rune breaks, go to all the npcs, thats when most quests realy start.
feboross: Pretty sure you keep any store upgrade bell bearings. You just lose the npc ones.

The quest is to play more Dark Souls 1 Randomizer
magicfibre: If you head straight to Shadow Keep you will miss a part of Hornsent's quest and some dialogue about Miquella from Ansbach

weirdalexander8193: Look up the stone sheathe sword quest, it's a goodie. Also, at unte ruins, Chuck a furnace pot in a golem blocking a door to wake it up. Pretty sure that's part of previously mentioned stone sheathed sword quest.

hi00118: In my first run through this DLC I did Ansbach's questline completely by accident. I can't wait to see what your run looks like.

Also if running through the DLC on NG ends up being easy for you I will be sad
