Asteriarimia: I think an underated part about smithscript daggers is their sinergy with the Godskin cloth, 2 heavy attacks are enough to proc the effect and against mobs that can be stunned you can usualy reagin a big portion of health before they even reach you.

kuremenze4861: The Erdsteel Dagger specifically isn't bugged, the ability to increase physical damage with faith is in the item description, only the two blood fiend weapons are bugged.

itsthewhiteowl: The Smithscript Dagger is unironically my favorite weapon in the DLC and I did an entire NG run of it with a similar setup to what you have going on. I think the damage was a bit better around launch, but the range was abysmal. After all of the updates, the range is significantly better and while there is a slight damage reduction, it's still perfectly manageable when you build around it. I think it's a shame that a lot of the Smithscript weapons ended up being underwhelming due to From being afraid of infinite FP projective attacks (which is weird considering how much other OP bullshit is in this game compared to that), but I'm glad the Daggers and Cirques at least are still viable. Only issue I have with this weapon is that despite how cool it is that it owns its entire weapon category for itself, I would have liked to see some more options. Somber Throwing Blades? Shurikens from the Land of Reeds? Something that works significantly better at building up bleed? Idk, just more than one weapon choice.

khfanboy666: When I tried a smithscript dagger run on like, NG 5, I found that the daggers did something few other weapons managed to do. It made fighting Senesseax "fun". Because the range of the daggers lets you basically always hit the dragon's head. Meaning you can face and avoid it's attacks head on rather than crawl around beneath its legs.

In general i find the additional range they give you very comfy, even if the damage isn't incredible.

Enishi900: I'm totally fine with the Bloodfiend weapons being bugged on a Faith infusion, I was experimenting on Radahn with dual Bloodfiend forks on Sacred infusion, and with high Fai/Arc they do nearly as well as Occult with high Str/Arc, maybe even a better if you throw in a swarm pot or blood flies at some point to help with a bleed proc. We deserved some good Fai/Arc weapons.
