WesleyHughston: I've played both diablo and poe since the inception of both, and I like both. If you judge them based only on their current iteration then yes poe is better. However, there have been many many absolute shit seasons in poe, and the same for diablo. Poe also has many many many many leagues that have been built into what it is today, so judging d4 vs poe isn't really fair. For years poe was damn near unplayable unless you had a 2k-3k expensive rig, and still sometimes it still sucked. Blizzard has the best coding, and the best visuals, where poe is a game designed by gamers and has grown from an indie company into a full fledged professional studio. End story they both are very good for different reasons. I honestly think gaming has gone into this weird space where if the demands of the players aren't met they blackball the hell out of the game. Gaming also has become this entity that is no longer there to provide entertainment, people treat it like a drug, and if the dealer gives them some mid grade shit they lash out like a bunch of fiends. Enjoy the fact that you have such wonderful , mostly cheap entertainment at your fingertips, and stop being so friggin uptight. - end rant.

Deadscheme: I think it's a testament to the dev team if there were builds that required Insane investment to work. I'm talking about builds that didn't work till you had Perfect Tempering, Perfect Masterwork crits, Max level Paragon/Glyphs, Max rank Aspects, Perfect stat rolls/greater affixes and gems. Creating a build that require all the pieces to be in place before it works is what diablo is for me. I loved high investment builds in Diablo II. Builds that took you all season to get working. If the dev team can get the systems that integrated, I see that as a win. Season starters/High investment builds dynamic hardcore boss fights. The game would be in a great place at that point for me.
