Antarius: Rather than tempering damage while close, you can also temper damage while berserking. The double swing variant has essentially 100% uptime while berserking, and having >300% damage while berzerking has a synergistic effect with the “blood rage” paragon node, to give you an extra 30% multiplicative damage.
