Meanwhile there are 100s of unread threads on the forums about all of the ongoing issues in-game and how all of those could be fixed with not a single developer response, an UI that's absolutely dogshit ugly, a character creation that's only halfway finished with only 3 updates skins (how lazy is that), gameplay bugs and glitches, cr clamp and loads of other issues.

But you know what, let's ignore all of that and focus on..the story. Wow, I am overfuckingwhelmed.

letemknowdae: My thing is it’s sooooo boring, and then you have to go back to the Bar area every single time you complete an objective, it’s like an hour of boring shenanigans, as opposed to the usual episodes which only take like 5min to complete. If they genuinely make it interesting playing it for an hour wouldn’t be so torturous.

SmittyAndMaxx: I understand the formula in which Dcuo. In FF14 it’s a similar way so I’m used to it. The back & forth to the pub is what’s know as the “errand boy phase”. Along the way you collect low common gear which is what was done everytime you went back & forth to the pub etc. At certain points of you being an “errand boy”, you run instances to further progress the story & to learn newer mechanics if any has been added & get a bit more gear to make you stronger & for styles. Rinse & repeat until you hit the endgame/new hangout area with all the newest gear along with new dungeons, raids etc.

the problem with Dcuo doing it is, they didn’t provide a substantial means of content for this to work long term & make a plethora of new areas to explore. They kinda tried to mesh a ff14 formula with a bit of the old formula where everything’s in one area & you have what we have now…..

all in all, the new area is great, it’s different & refreshing. If only they could’ve made more new areas which then in term could’ve opened more opportunities to content.

cjaeeetv389: Once you get past the stoey missions its not that bad. Like a regular dc world woth missions. Its not that much different then anything we aint seen. I actually like the lil 2v2v2v2 shii in the missions. But one thing i noticed with ppl in dc is were NEVER satisfied tbh. Like they hated on the last few episodes lol.

But its Like the game is 14 years old. This game has soo many outdated problems. The episodes we get shpuld be are least worries. Are expectations are way to high on a old ass game. With an outdated company...

The only thing thatll make mfs happy is if they make a whole new dcuo. Dcuo 2 the only way

ItsArchiBoy: I think it’s a boring gameplay, unnecessarily long, no progression really. I was surprised with the dark storyline and it was great. Loved the new map.

I liked the new strategy of the obelisks and that made me think it could be just great for new PvP content, like having actual open world missions with PvP involved.

And I personally don’t care about blue lantern power, meh. One thing I think would be a game changer would be having the option to decide the storyline, so you decide if the character lives or not, if you save the hero or ally with the villain, giving your character a light side or dark side progression, so you can eventually change factions after a certain amount of points or just earn unique rewards based on your allegiance, something like that would make the story of your character feel unique and fresh.

This is the longer test server has ever been offline for. There is a very high possibility of power rings or more artifact slots or more passives. Potentially more gameplay changes.

You think the content is easy now but wait till those overhauls happen you won't be as overpowered as you are right now

I can respect that. The sucky part is the solo, the alert, and the 1st raid are the exact same thing.
