WrathofKoopa-fs8le: The central issue with druid is this and it's a core issue with the class : In a game which is largely about picking your fights, hitting first, pushing when you are strong and fleeing when you are weak, simply nothing beats its movement and it's ability to pick when it fights.
Add to that, not needing to include expensive weapons in your gear budget, you should be at a GS advantage in any bracket you'd like to play.
WeakestHater: My main dissapointment in the game is the shallow melee defense, things like blocking or parrying are not that satisfying tbh
partychip: EUTHAGOAT MENTIONED
scpOrigami: The desync between Attacker and Defender in this game is absurd. There's been testing done by Oggieson where, with two computers in the same room on the same wifi, had a staggering 150MS delay between when an input was entered on one PC and that same action could be seen ln the other. 150MS is insane, especially considering that blocking success is based on the attackers screen, and whether or not the attacker messes up, rather than whether the defenser is playing well.
sadlittleaccidents: Rat form should have something called fear for your life instinct, which only allows you to transform when you haven't been in battle for over 10 seconds or something.
xidears4156: I disagree with the hate on fog of war. It has been what has saved the game for me and my friend group. We actually returned to this game after all agreeing to never play it again specifically based off the new implemented systems in the game. Fog of War being the biggest win by far. Not getting spawn camped, everyone isn't rushing straight to the highest teir rooms and looting them so fast and disappearing before you can even get there. I do understand the skull key and mystical gem issues, and I think an indicator like holding it in your hand and when you're facing the direction of the room it glows, would be a cool concept. Not necessarily showing you exactly where to go on the map. But Fog of War is new and casual player friendly and a huge win on Ironmace's part.
johnniewilliams2319: I like everything that was said in the video, I would like to add, QoL perks need to be removed and incorporated into classes as a base, rogue should have the ability to lock pick without a need to bring a perk, druid should have the flower aura perk without needing to sacrifice anything, it would be a nice change that let's players feel like their class without sacrificing the ability to fight better. These perks are super rarely used anyway and them being base kit would not give anyone an advantage in pvp it would just have the classes feel more like that class.
HamesDnD: If they MASSIVLY increased gold storage then uncapped gold cost on market from 50k it would literally save the market for me. like Im tired of flipping being far more profitably than actually playing the game and want to just be able to buy an artifact when I want and compare it to other ones
isaiahcontreras1761: They really need a testing range where u can test your damage on a dummy, there is no reason i gotta pull out a calculator to figure out how much damage in doing
uwuweeabo2725: a artificial way of creating poi's would be like ensuring mobs of nightmare level grade guarantee thier mob drops or garanteeing 1 unique mob every raid stuff like that
patchy1591: If you can’t beat Druid, you become Druid… if everyone becomes Druid they’ll be forced to balance the game and make them weaker. Everyone GO DRUID
anubis6173: Fog of war means i have to actually explore the map to find what im looking for ( a treasure pile in the big ring module on crypts or maybe the boss room) it adds to the experience of going into a damgerous dungeon and you dont know whats going to happen. Keys/mystical gem rooms are very annoying to find so i agree with the suggestion of adding a feature to those items to help you find those rooms however the system itself overall adds to the experience rather than being an annoyance(excluding key rooms)
If the maps are always visible then i could just skip the rooms that have less loot and beeline for the good ones or for the boss room and harrass whoever is fighting it(or get griefed myself when im fighting the boss) fog of war reduces the frustration of allways being camped when trying to boss/ clear rooms
I have almost 2k hours into this game and i play every class except druid and sorc(they arent fun for me) class balance feels pretty good imo excluding druids rat form specifically becsuse they get away for free and its just objectively unfair. Sorc damage feels abit too high but its not like you cant just headshot them with a crossbow/longbow etc or play a close corner or something, there is counterplay that isnt exclusively just rogue invis
Druid panther form is really high dps but it dies easily as well. Only people who exclusively play warlock/wizard seem to complain about it as if its "unkillable" "too op" etc
Another thing ive noticed is the game community seems to take the game itself too seriously, like as if dying and losing some good gear is the end of the world and ruined your whole week. Ofc theres goig to be people who complain about every little thing in any comunity but i dont reccomend this game to my friends who havent tried the game yet because the community is so immature(in my personal experience) same reason why people wont play league or cod etc the game comunities are just too annoying interact with. As if they cant handle losing a match ever and will endlessly bemoan getting killed in a video game that behavior is just pathetic and a massive turn off for potential new players.
Jus my 2 cents as a random who plays the game alot in their free time I love this game and i love the content creators who play it (except toddfather)
oggieson: Definitely need more ranged weapons
xAl3216: The truth is it’s a really small game with only a couple
thousand people and it’s not something that’ll be around for the long haul as much as it sucks cause it’s a very fun game to me. So all we can do is enjoy it while we have it.
TryHardTurbo: Just needs chivalry level combat and we’re good.
CatBack94: W vision W patch W sdf revert to patch 69
danny7694: I can't believe I amsaying this again but here we go: add dodge rolls and a stamina bar.
phrog9511: Gear score x5 = Insurance Cost (factoring out things like meds) I personally think this is a good way to a give a consistent but fair insurance cost. Ex: 100 gear score = 500 gold insurance.
BingPlusBong: i miss the witcher music
BlueInferno: Just make it so that holding the skull key, or mystical gem. Points you towards the door in some way, arrow, sound cue, what ever. Keep the map how it is.
DaBeatBros: I would love to see a mordhau style of combat, where gear would provide a huge advantage, but not enough to state check every fight.
caioqueiroz9750: I just feel like they realy should add things to the already existing classes. people complain about druid (and they are right to do so) but the strongest class in the game is freaking Ranger. We all know you guys play solo, but whatever nobody cares about solo, they always talked about how the game is designed to focus on Trios, so does Arena, and which class does every good team has? A ranger, any other is replaceable, but not ranger. Even in Solos a good ranger can kil you from across the room. With that being said: Classes need more perks and more abilities, they gave druid another spell and gave Ranger another Ability. But what about Wizard (Mage? i forgot the name exactly)? what about Cleric? BARBARIAN? Those classes can only be played in a certain way, that is why it's so difficult to balance things. People like versatility. Warlock is stupid af too with phntomise and also healing the entire fight.
What can they do with all that? They need to make certain perks not available when you pick another one. Like an EASY example: If you pick "Shield Mastery" which is focused on defending and attacking, then you should not be able to equip "Counter Attack", not because they are broken together but because it makes no sense to have both. Another Example that people should agree: Warlocks "Torture Master" creates a certain playstyle, which is HEALING, so that is strong enough on its on, so you should not be able to equip "Soul Colector" because it's another kind of playstyle, that could be build meant for Melee Warlock with the demon transformation.
You know what I mean? they can just add new perks and make some of the new old perks not compatible. I don't even play druid so I don't know the name of the stuff, but if you make druids NEW TRANSFORMATIONS and it's a Perk that gives you that ability you can simply make people choose between Transforming and Casting by making transformation not compatible with spells. You could have both your abilities (Q and E) with like 5 cool transformations each, and of course GIVE IT A COOLDOWN! This game is insired by D&D but it forgets that completely when it comes to druids, in Dungeons and Dragons you can transform like 3 times A DAY?!? So give both E and Q like 3 to 5 transformations and make campfires resets. I feel like the only classes that need the campfire are Cleric and Wizard and everyone else has like 1 skill that needs it and the skill is not even a MUST FOR THE CLASS, it's an optional one. Maybe most or all classes should have skills that need campfire to recharge.
That is my opinion, I've been playing for a while now but apparently the "Old days" were the "Gold Era" of the game and I was not around. I've been enjoying the game a lot for the past few months and I really think that you guys COMPLAIN TOO MUTCH and Like very few things. I feel like I like more things than I dislike things. Those are the suggestions I have for the game
BobbyBilly-m9m: I dissagree melee has a large amount of skill involved I have 100s of clips of me out skilling out spacing out dodging the enemy melee combat is for sure skilled
mr.spooks1: i think if all weapons would have block the melee combat would be so much better. They already have mechanics like impact power and blocking power which is kinda solid foundation in my opinion
anonanon8252: Regarding fog of war: I like the idea of a dynamic fog of war. This could go in several directions. You could possibly uncover chunks of map by completing objectives like hitting a pile, killing a demiboss, unlocking locked gates and doors, completing the central objective of a module such as opening a golden chest, or hitting all the shrines in a module, there could be different ways to do it with the idea being that normal gameplay will uncover the map within the first 6-8 minutes of the dungeon allowing pursuit of specific objectives. Perhaps "scrolls" could be added as points of interest in areas of modules that are not commonly visited that could give map knowledge as a reward. Alternatively, you could possibly do a dynamic fog of war that uncovers your path for a temporary duration before fading out. Exploring with a lantern equipped could reveal larger chunks of the map for greater time. Perhaps there could be a consumable/craftable item that allows you to "gain insight" of your surroundings and either reveal the map to you or reveal a radius around you, something like that. Maybe they could rework the Evil Eye spell to "send out" an eye and then after a 30s-1min delay the warlock gains knowledge of the surrounding area, or maybe any module with demons in it, something that makes sense. Could give wizard, cleric and sorcerer niche spells that do similar as well. The wizard could perhaps identify all modules that have magical shrines in them. The sorceror could "commune with the elements" and reveal modules with water, poisonous zombies, mosquitoes, death beetles, etc. The cleric could perhaps identify modules with stone tombs and coffins, and maybe altars of sacrifice. Changes like these would be engaging and allow players to use map knowledge and process of elimination to identify their desired path through the map.
Or some combination of these and other ideas. There are ways to do it, I feel like Ironmace really just doesn't have someone on staff who can take sdf's vision and fill in the blanks to make it a competent game with a repeatable and rewarding gameplay loop.
Twinzlerust: As someone who has played every wipe Druids ruined this game for me. Yes the average Druid player isn’t what I’m talking about. the skill ceiling for Druid players is ridiculous. Good Druids shouldn’t have a way to panther/chicken shift across a room into a mid air one shot in bear form. Even putting like a small internal cooldown on shifting could fix that
