Ezzekiel73: Life drain needs to be changed so it can be casted while moving at same speed lightning bolt is casted with Sorcerer. Also Dark beam is still incredibly slept on with souls (although it did take a big hit with the magic power nerf).

Bloodstained Blade does 5 BASE WEAPON DAMAGE, it's literally the strongest melee damage buff in the game. It's not additional weapon damage like the stat rolls on weapons, it gets affected by hit zones, weak spots, and combo bonus, so it's often far more than 5 damage per swing, and the reason Warlock has it above all is because the biggest factor of combo bonus is Longsword riposte (which the Cleric spell that does something similar, is NOT affected by combo bonus).

dinen5000: Ironmace needs to do away with the standard stat arrays for classes, let people point buy and put their attributes in the stats they want to, that way every class can actually spec toward what they want, Platelock could stack stats to actually be viable in melee even in squire gear instead of having to spend thousands to be viable, and that would be the case for every class

stigionblu: I have an idea that might help warlock. Rework soul collector to make it that it gives 3 shards giving 3all, make it not consume all of the stacks on a dark cast and make it give you 20% magical damage bonus. and the downside of this is that your magical healing is reduced by a flat 20%. This should discourage low gear all warlock from being too strong of a caster with TM but also make alternative playstyles to warlock like melee lock or hybrid playable in any gs without min maxxing your gear. Melee/Hybrid lock should not have to chase the highest tiers of gear just to be average at each situation, Melee warlock requires too many stats and unless they make a spell that idk converts half of your MPB into Physical PB I don't think that melee/hybrid will be playable in low gear

carterfn5939: Yeah sucks warlock has only one good playstyle (TM phatomize and movespeed) but the build is super strong.

I built a max move speed warlock with 23 magical healing and it’s just stupid how many 1v3s I can pull off

stigionblu: Another really big problem with most of warlocks spells is the same reason that rogues build true damage almost exclusively. It is because low base damage means shitty scaling unless you build a stupid amount of damage so what Iron Mace should do is rebuff warlocks scaling so that the MPB nerf doesn't hit warlock as hard as is

Yeah they can run around and kite forever but their kill pressure is non-existent to the point where drinking a potion and bandaging pretty much entirely negates them. I'm exaggerating a little bit, but only a little bit. Pre-patch I was wrecking house in Arena playing my ass off sweating like crazy hitting huge damage numbers. Now I do the same thing and people are just NEVER dying straight up... and yeah having an infinite healing healthbar is great and all but when basically every attack in the game coming at you be it a longbow, crossbow or some manner of two-handed weapon one/two-taps you... Well, it feels like that infinite healing is just not enough of a perk to justify the crazy amount of weakness.

Also, phantomize got hit with a stealth-nerf thanks to the hot-swapping. Now if you phantomize with book out you can no longer remove it, the ramifications of this are unless you are a 330 ms gamer, the barb you are phantomizing away from is just going to stay on-top of you because you can't put the -10 ms book or -15 ms ball (more likely since mana sphere dmg) away during phanto.

Caster lock genuinely feels like shit, I was one of the biggest players of it and most ardent enjoyers but even I can't stand around for this shit. The mpb curve hit on-top of basically entirely losing soul collector and the huge phanto nerf just killed the class for me. I'll be hoppin on rogue next wipe if they think this is an acceptable state to leave it all in.

TheArcticBearboss: I feel like with a lack of magic resist in the meta overall, a reduction in overall magic damage was due. That being said, I don't think matching the magic power gains to be the same as the phys power gains from stats was the way to go about dealing with it. They need to fix the magic power curve from stats, or make some compensations in terms of base damage on spells, or additional new spells to a lot of classes in the game right now. I can only imagine how dog shit low gear score wizard will be at the start of next wipe if everything stays as is.

gangnamkid9635: i love playing melee warlock but his kit doesn't allow it, in other games he makes him a melee and spell hybrid but in dark and darker they add unviable perks for melee lock, only 1 viable way to play him

oxOXChargeXOxo: I think you or someone else suggested it already but they should make the melee lifesteal perk percentage based instead of flat 2 true and 2 heal per hit. I've been running a zweihander boc hybrid build and it would be so much more fun if I could actually use that perk for it. I don't even care too much about the dmg but some actual lifesteal would be nice. just make the lifesteal gigastrong but make it so you can't use this and tm at the same time or something

chost-059: Ironmace wants everyone to play exclusively caster TM phantomise kitelock, unique builds keep getting nerfed, it sucks since TM kitelock is one of the most boring builds ever. Ive been playing hybrid warlock forever but i know it just kinda sucks since you cant compete with actual melee classes in melee as you don't have good perks and such

Also warlock melee weapons are ass for a class that has low base strength, falchion is the worst one hander in the game and is ass to use with a shield, warlock would need morning star and arming sword etc

jonylicious8091: Halberd platelock with heater in the off hand has been my pick this season and its not half bad. After soul collector, shadow touch and plate perks i like to use the antimagic perk just cause. And for the skills boc and phantomize to run. Action speed vig and agi is what you want to build for mostly. Good luck out there and would love to see you use this type of kit
