VB2P360: You know they've said before they use paid assets, the animations are altered to fit the game. They aren't trying to hide it, it's animations (sometimes tweaked sometimes completely new) and coding (all custom).

The outsourcing of assets doesn't concern me as much, in fact I am in support of it considering how much man hours are saved in the long run assuming the assets match game aesthetic. I am more worried about class balance and build diversity at this stage, seems like we have been cooking with leftovers for a long time now and IM was meant to come back from the grocery store months ago

realguest: Reminds me of roblox a bit, where when you create your game you also have the ability to use pre-made assets from other creators to make your game. now i don't really know how to feel about this with a decently large company one part of me understands its faster and cheaper but the other part of me thinks they don't know how to create a game and have to rely on other peoples assets for their game.... we need more information about everything.
