tombofthememelich2192: Here is what I think needs to happen to bring these dagger fighter builds in-line with the other melee classes/builds in the game: Dagger-buckler fighter is over-tuned (it was already over-tuned before). That is a problem with the the buckler/lantern shield (and some extent the dagger) more than it is with the MS buffs. The other builds should not be punished and the change should not be reverted just to bring rondel/buckler back in line. Here is what I would do if the game balance was my choice: -10 MS on lantern shield and buckler (leave heater/round shield where they are). Most people use the buckler as a PDR stat-stick anyway, which is lazy and should be punished a bit more than it is. - 8 MS to all daggers (resulting in -18 MS total to rondel/buckler fighter compared to what it is now). This should reduce the rondel spam on bard/druid as well, which is a win in my book. For rogue: Dagger Mastery give 5 MS with dagger out (resulting in -3 MS for 1 dagger out and -11 MS when dual wielding compared to current). I think these changes would make the game feel much better.

EDIT: If a further nerf is warranted, then have Weapon Mastery apply a flat -2 base weapon damage penalty. This affects large weapons like double axe much less than small weapons like dagger.
